  1. I picked up a minty Sears Super Video Arcade last month and have been enjoying it a lot. Looking to build a collection, including trying to get my hands on all of the Sears-branded "Super Video Arcade" titles. Here are the ones I'm still looking for, CIB: Backgammon Snafu If you've got one or more to sell, please send me a PM and we'll see what we can put together. Thanks!
  2. In this video I'm playing BurgerTime while talking a little about how much this sells for, if it will be on the Amico, and compare it to the 2600 and ColecoVision versions. I see some Data East collections out there and have seen this game in an Arcade 1Up cabinet and those mini My Arcade cabinets. And the Amico Wikipedia page lists BurgerTime so it looks like it will be but I don't recall Tommy mentioning it but I could have missed one of the 8,000 interviews he's done.
  3. In this video I play Intellivision Night Stalker while talking about the Amico & CUPodcast. I explain why it should be called an Intellivision system, mobile games, and who this is for. I'm playing this on my Sears Telegames Super Video Arcade which I show in the video.
  4. I'm thinking about getting a "non-mattel" Intellivision. Being in Europe I haven't much clues about the rarity and value of the rebranded versions. I guess the Sears version is the most common, and the Sylvania and Tandy are the rarest. I'm not interested to get an Intelli II or an INTV model, unless those are specific in a way I never heard of. So do you have infos, pictures and the like about those models? An average price for a loose working unit withou games would be nice, too
  5. Just curious on this topic. I recently purchased a Sears SVA unit from an AA member, and shortly after, another one on eBay. I immediately noticed there was a difference in the gold color of the controllers, on/off switch and reset button between the two units. I took out a third SSVA unit I had, sure enough there was. That one was more silver in color than the other two. All three of these units are original to my best knowledge. Moving on to the Mattel unit, then the Sylvania and finally my Tandy unit. The Sylvania has a very metallic/silver look. The Tandy is more gold shaded, with the Mattel being close to the same. Whereas the Sears units actually look more gold in color, but different shades between production years. Was this the case with these models, all being sold under different labels, or am I just seeing things? If there are color variations in the controllers, what years are the deepest color gold? I would think first generation models? More fun INTV triva...😀 Thanks for the clarification. JR
