ataribernie
Has anyone thought of porting the Atari arcade game Black Widow to the 5200? I happen to love that game.
Tempest
It was planned by Atari, but I don't think it ever got started. I've always hoped that a prototype of it would turn up someday. Tempest
Albert
I would also love to see a prototype of this game show up, as Black Widow is one of my favorite Atari vector games. I'd love to get my hands on one someday, although it tortures me that it was a conversion of Tempest. ..Al
ataribernie
Actually, Black Widow was a conversion of Gravitar.
Albert
Actually, Black Widow was a conversion of Gravitar. You're right, my bad. I don't know what I was thinking. And I should know better, as I have a Gravitar cabinet!! ..Al
adamchevy
Its to bad a prototype of this game doesnt exist. This game seems like a perfect fit for the 5200 along side Space Dungeon and Robotron 2084.

zylon
I'd love to see this game done on something besides that compilation disc for the DC. 5200/A8, etc should be able to run it. Played the bejesus out of it back then, lol Anyways, someone's been doing a lot of grave digging here lately... Albert
Was Major Havoc a Tempest conversion? Probably, it's the same type of cabinet, and not the really cool Major Havoc cabinet.. ..Al

I also have a Black Widow that was a Gravitar. I have the board and CP for Gravitar in a closet so that it can be swapped back but I really like Black Widow so that might not happen for a while. Yeah, the original roller is much better than the Tempest spinner. If you want to sell your Gravitar board and CP at some point, please let me know! ..Al
NE146
Al, where'd you score your Major Havoc out of curiosity?

I need to get a couple Cinematronics cabs, Star Castle and Space Wars for sure, maybe Rip-Off, though that game ruins my wrists. Maybe Armor..Attack instead. No room to store/play them currently, though. Never enough room...

Lynxpro
......and on top of using the twin-stick controller holder like Space Dungeon and Robotron 2084 use Crazy Climber would also be awesome. I don't think there's an A8 version of it though. Karate Champ would also be cool.
