nashnooga
So I went to the flea market to look for old games. I walked around for a while and saw a sega master system in a box with controllers and everything and the pack in game for $20 almost bought it too. I turned to walk down another isle, I was getting ready to leave when I saw it an Atari 2600a (darth vader) with a huge stack of games, I figured that the guy wanted too much for it, but decided to ask him anyways. "how much for your atari?" "10 bucks for everything there's like forty games here too." Of course I bought it, but it didn't have any controllers or ac adaptor, I walked down the isle some more, and this mexican guy had a 2600, and boxes of controllers, adaptors, etc. I asked if he had an ac adaptor, controllers, and rf switch. So I got 2 joysticks, an ac adaptor, and one of those rf boxes for a 5200 for $10, and he threw in some paddle controllers for free. I got home, and since I don't know anything about atari systems I was looking for a place to hook it up to the rf, I realized that there was suppose to be some cord coming out the back, so I had to run to 4jays and buy one, now I am in atari heaven. Eduardo
Hey nash, you made a good choice, those prices sound pretty decent, even if you got common carts wich are usually the ones with better gameplay. The Atari 2600 alone is worth that and more. It was nice from him to throw in those paddles, now you should look for games like Kaboom!, Warlords or SuperBreakout. You can use some Armor All to make your system shine as new.

Andrew
I'd be interested in those coleco carts. Just got into Colecovision and I need most of those. I've got lots of Atari doubles, would be more than happy to trade 2 or 3 atari for one coleco, are there any in particular you want?

Cassidy Nolen
Interesting in California to be a collector. I was there for the Atari 30th Birthday this last spring, and I found Atari very hard to find anywhere. I hit every thrift and flea in Sunnyvale, San Jose, San Fran, Napa and Oakland. Found a boxed Sunnyvale Heavy sixer (refurbished from factory) and 10 common games for 80 bucks at the San Jose market. A fella there said two years ago the stuff was everywhere, but now there was nothing, and what was there was worth a fortune. As for others, I bought 5 great shape boxed Intellivision carts for a buck each, Atari 800 games for a buck each, and got a Fairchild Channel F 2 and 6 boxed games for 30 bucks. Strange how in DC I have been so lucky with Atari, and dry on the others. Now I leave home, and there is a bunch of other stuff. BTW, found all that in two days. Not a bad haul.
