EGM gives a shout out to www.lablemaker2600.com in this months issue! (Altho they call 2600 carts crusty! :x )

What month is the current US issue of EGM? I'll keep an eye out for it when it finally gets downunder.

Do you still plan on adding other label variations? I would love to see a Atari Children's Label Maker.

Yep, I'm hoping to add more label types soon. I've been busy working on my ASCII Poster Maker for the last few weeks. Unless voting changes dramatically I'll be doing Silver labels next.

Cool. Hey I voted silver before I realized how hard it is to fake a childrens label. If I could go back and change it I would...

BTW The ASCII Poster Maker is awesome. It reminds me of the Rasterbator only with ASCII. :)

Does anyone have a template for Childrens lables and boxes?

And nobody noticed this proof of Activisions thievery....

I wanted to do an Atari related project during my holidays so I've put together an online Label Maker for the Atari 2600.

The Label Maker produces relatively authentic "Picture Label" style labels with your choice of label image, game title and color. Optionally the Atari Logo and CX Number may be included.

I've attached a couple of sample labels to this post. If you have any problems or suggestions for improvements please drop a reply in this thread.

Thanks so much!

It much improved my avatar! What a fantastic idea!

  • 2 weeks later...

The label maker is back up with the addition of new silver / grey labels. Two styles are available one with the Rainbow covering the entire label width and the other with rainbow limited to the width of the image on the label. I've called them small rainbow and large rainbow because I didn't know any better, if there is a more official name for the two variations please let me know.

If you follow a link from Atari Age like this one http://www.labelmaker2600.com you'll see less ads.

Edit to add: If the layout seems broken please do a refresh on the page to ensure you have the latest version of the CSS stylesheet.

Any chance of a 7800 version soon?

Possibly, I'm doing new label types basically as voted by the members of Atari Age.

I've updated the which label type do you want to see next poll to include Atari 7800, Activision and Imagic labels. I'm hoping to do one more label type before Christmas.
