Trebor
Not my work. Nevertheless, quite possibly the most amazing thing you will ever see and/or hear from the 2600. Impaler_26
Yeah, another demo from the wAMMA guys who now call themselves "Trilobit" as it seems... And like their previous demos it's great! I especially like the music in this one, it comes pretty close to C64-quality ! It also works fine in z26.

ilmarque
Not my work. Nevertheless, quite possibly the most amazing thing you will ever see and/or hear from the 2600. Believe me, you'll see even more amazing things in the future
Spirantho
Well that's 4K that's got a date with my Cuttle Cart II.... Though I'd really like to run it on my H6er so maybe I'll burn it to a ROM instead. Verrry impressive. Though you probably need to be a coder (like me!) to realise just how impressive it is! Rom Hunter
Amazing. It reminds me of the good old C64 demo's.
visyli
Why the name TOM / JONES? As the theme of the demo is love, we decided to name this demo after an epitome of love, that is, Tom Jones Also the way of spelling it TOM/JONES is a sort of tribute to Fairlight's C64-demos (WE/LASER, WE/BANANA etc.) as the design is very much influenced by Fairlight's style. And as ilmarque said, there's still more to come. You ain't seen nothing yet.
Shawn
Why the name TOM / JONES? I was expecting to see some overweight Vegas performer.. "Woah woah woah she's a ladddyy!" The tune is for the song Sex Bomb by Tom Jones and Massive Attack.

2600Lives
Yeah! This was the song they used for the 3rd season opener of Robot Chicken during the Gyro-Robo News Hour bit. I was trying to figure out where I'd heard it from, and that's it!
Thomas Jentzsch
Yes RAMBO :] I have three, every slightly different. Mine is a Darth Vader with 256 built-in games. What are the differences between yours?
siudym
Two have 128 games build in, third (black, very similar to org. a2600) have 196 games (two roms on board - 512KB and 64KB). I dont know names, i think all must be "RAMBO's" (very popular in my neighbourhood) Edited August 23, 2007 by siudym

ilmarque
Yeah! This was the song they used for the 3rd season opener of Robot Chicken during the Gyro-Robo News Hour bit. I was trying to figure out where I'd heard it from, and that's it! Newsflash: tom/jones was released before that episode of Robot Chicken was aired. ...and besides, they don't even sound alike. wrenchien
it sounds pretty good from what little i heard of it... thank you. keep up the good work.
2600Lives
Right, it was released before the episode aired...so that's likely why they used it, as it had already been released... And yeah, they do sound alike. Quite a bit, in fact.
