Tempest
Way way too many. I think I own just about every console released in the US except for the CD-i, 3DO, and Xbox/360. I'm sure there may be one or two obscure ones I'm missing, but I have most of them covered. I also have a few import consoles as well like the MSX. bdog_147
I just recently got into re-collecting after I basically sold everything at a tagsale when I was 9 (20 yrs ago) for some spending $....and wanted to know what systems you all have or genres you all lean towards collecting for games...here are mine so far: As for games...I am DEFINATELY an RPG-er,only collecting rpg's for ps1 & 2 (some 'cube & xbox) as well as the popular ones for snes as well) but have the classics and some rares for the older consoles.... PS2 Xbox Wii GBA Kept the boxes exept for ps2. I foolishly threw it out a few weeks after I got it. I don't call myself a collector but I have been buying lots of old cheap xbox games out of print (and plan to keep everything). I didn't get the xbox until summer '05 and missed out on some great titles. Just today I picked up Azurik and Nightcaster. Haven't played them yet... Had a NES once it broke so it got thrown out. had a genesis sold it after 6 months of ownership. Regretted that ever since.... I like racing games the most but started getting into FPS games early this year.
Ace_1
I own 7 consoles: NES(3 front-loaders, 1 with box, 1 which I will sell, 1 which will(hopefully) be replaced by a top-loader) SNES(dead, will be buying a replacement system soon) Nintendo 64(with box) PlayStation(mini PSone version, no box) GameCube(with box) PlayStation 2(slimline, with box) Wii(with box)
Ross PK
To clarify I still have the boxes for the Dreamcast and for it's acsessories near enough all mint, and I also have the box for the slimline PS2 which is mint as well. I used to even have the reciept for the Dreamcast, could have sworn I had put in the console's box, but it isn't there anymore. I guess it's not important, but it was a nice addition to have. +evg2000
I'm with Tempest, way,way to many. Maybe not in the same league as he is, but I've got a lot of sytems and games. jimid2
We've got a TurboGrafx-16, two Dreamcasts, a PSOne, a PS2, a Game Cube and an XBox in the house, but what we collect are handhelds: From top left and following semi-logical columns, the systems are : MIB Atari Lynx I, MIB Bandai Wonderswan (Pearl White), MIB Bandai Swancrystal (Violet), Wonderswan, Bandai Wonderswan Color, Swancrystal (#2), SNK NeoGeo Pocket Color version 1 (crystal), SNK NeoGeo Pocket Color version 1 (silver), SNK NeoGeo Pocket (blue camo), SNK NeoGeo Pocket Color version 2 (metalic blue), (btt) MIB Tiger R-Zone, NEC TurboExpress, Game Park Holdings GP2X, original Nintendo Game Boy (x3), Game Boy Pocket (black), Game Boy Light (silver), Pokemon Edition Game Boy Color (x2), Game King I, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo Game Boy Micro (x2), Game Boy Advance SP (x4), Nintendo DS, Nintendo DS Lite (x3), (btt) Milton Bradley Microvision, Nintendo Game & Watch Donkey Kong Hockey, Atari Lynx I (#2), Atari Lynx II (x2), Sega Nomad, Sega Game Gear (x2), Tiger game.com, Tiger R-Zone, Sony PSP (x2), Quickshot Supervision and a Watara Supervision... Handhelds are great to collect because you don't need to worry about how you're going to hook them up to the TV, and they're small and easy to store away... Here's how they're displayed in our basement:
