Team Fortress 2

Just started playing this yesterday, having not played Team Fortress(classic) in years. A good mindless Zen game to pass the time.

 

What do you think? Observations:

 

1. You only get 3 weapons? I missed the weapon variety among all the classes.

 

2. No 'nades? C'mon, I wanna do conc jumping. Okay, I can't do it, but at least let me practice.

 

3. I like the new announcer voice. It's funny when she says "You have FAIILED!@#". She sounds like the announcer for some Halloween movie festival.

 

4. Like the way the sniper rifle works. No more RSI holding down the button.

 

5. Like the "critical hit" indicator when you do get a shot on someone.

 

6. The spy with the paper mask on his face = funny.

 

 

It's gonna take me a while to ease back into this game. Many moons ago I once played for 3 hours straight, and ended up having a dream where the TF2 players were pallbearers on the 2fort map. ????

Excuse me, but I find it impossible to believe that nobody else on here is playing TF2. Speak up!

I've played it a few times so far, and really like it.

 

BUT

 

I think that they should have included all of the original maps (with the updated graphics), with their original modes. A sort of "classic" mode. And then included the updated version of some of the maps as well.

All I can say that it has become my favorite multi player game of now.

I dont have it yet but it's on my list.

I'm not buying any more games this year (Well except I have Mass Effect pre-ordered) until after Christmas.

It looks pretty good though for that's worth.
