Atariman
I don't understand this comment for two reasons. 1. Because there were a few pretty good 7800 only titles. 2. The 7800 plays all of the old 2600 games - many of which are some of the best games ever made, or at the very least they're some of the greatest classics of all time. The Game.com doesn't play any games well. It's truely awful. "Sonic Jam" plays at about three frames per second. It's unplayable. In addition, the 7800 has color. So really, by no factors that are mesurable is the 7800 infiror to the Game.com. I also have a Studio II and an R-Zone, and I would rank the Game.com below both for GP alone. You have to understand that neither of the above "X system sucks" posts mean much of anything anyway. Just roll your eyes and move on Anyway, the current game I have plugged into my Game.com is Monopoly - this is one of the only games I've played somewhat extensively on it as (mentioned by someone else above) the framerates have made some of the titles unplayable. I only have one cart plugged in as the Game.com I play the most is one of the slimmed down models (a lovely turquoise color). I still have two original Game.com systems I keep around, though. I wouldn't mind having the one with the backlight (assuming it made it to production)

Atari5200
Now that is truly the worst system ever. nope, 7800 is still the worst system ever. I get way more enjoyment out of my Game.com with the games I have than with a 7800. I don't understand this comment for two reasons. 1. Because there were a few pretty good 7800 only titles. 2. I am going by the games that I own, both past and present when I make these statements. I do not do emulation. so to answer your questions. #1. You're right there are " a few" I have only 2 out of 30+, Commando and Dark Caverns that I enjoy. So Game.com beats the 7800 in that area for me, as I have Wheel of Fortune, Resident Evil 2, Lights out, Williams Arcade, that I enjoy. #2. backward compatibility is never taken into consideration when I talk about 7800 games, the 7800 games are terrible for the most part. #3. The Game.com doesn't play any games well. I disagree. #4. The 7800 has color. Just because it has color doesn't make it good. #5. I own neither system so I can't comment. nester
Well no Game.com yet, but the next time I have a job that actually pays me enough money than I will probably pick one up. How can I resist a poorly recieved system that only has about 20 games?
S1500
I'm still a bit ticked that the game.com I bought less than 5 years ago on clearance had lines on the display that conked out, making it unusuable. I had more fun walking around like a dork at the Mall of America, carrying it around like a briefcase after buying it, than playing the games. Mine has been used maybe three times and has a line on the display that conked out. It's made extremely cheaply.
autumn_drag0n
I don't own one but I would like too. I am curious about these obscure poorly-performing (in sales that is) systems. I would definitely like to have it to play Wheel of Fortune on (my wife would really like that). Another system I would like to pick up and check out is the Hyperscan. Strange, huh? If any of you are looking for a loving adoptive home for your no longer wanted Game.com let me know autumn_drag0n
BydoEmpire
Haven't turned it on basically since I bought it on clearance from Kay Bee, so I think Midway Arcade Classics and Tiger Casino are in the slots. The only two games i have. =) I don't know if it's the worst system ever. It's certainly not great. Not really even good... but worst ever? I'd have to think about that one.
