Is there enough memory run a disk drive on a 400? All of the newest BBS programs (AFAIK) run under SpartaDOS 3 or higher so that is probably another stumbling block. You could try an OLD version of A.M.I.S. with DOS 2 and see if you can trim out some stuff to get it small enough. Or you could always write your own... I did that on a number of 400's that I was using for control projects. I just checked and I can't see them on B&C's website, but you might write Bruce and ask. Otherwise, check Best.
