Bocaj77 Posted May 7, 2009 Share Posted May 7, 2009 I recently got my 800xl out of storage which it has been in since about 1992. After hooking it up I having a problem where I am getting sound but no picture. It keeps playing the pictures at a exhibition tune over and over in different pitches. I did see there was a similar post that recommended pulling out the chips and reinstalling them which I did but nothing changed. Any other ideas on what might be going on. candle Posted May 7, 2009 Share Posted May 7, 2009 try RF output, if still no picture, then check transistors near rf modulator for bad solder joints, also check if monitor socket is properly soldered (usually there are problems after long use, and then even longer storage) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
