Corby
Is it possible for the xbox 360 to read a 320 gig hard drive????? I have taken apart one of my hard drive units, and phoned one of those guys you see in the paper who do mods. he couldn't do it because, the programs won't work on the hard drive. he said if i went down to a 160 or 120 and a certain model he could do it? any ideas. why would i go that big? well I figured what the hell, i paid the same price for the 320 as I would for a xbox 120 gig. corby
Video
I see no technical reason the 360 couldn't read a 360 (or hell, a 1TB) HDD, the problem is really in the software, and maybe there is a limit in the system bios, but in order to read a third party drive, both of those would need to be changed anyways, so it shouldn't be a real problem. Maybe the X-box reads IDE and in that case, you can't use say, an SATA drive, but they made IDE 2.5 drives up to 650gb I believe, so it still shouldn't be a hardware problem.
