Nimtene
I got this recently during the TRU B2G1 free sale. Finally gave it a try for 30 minutes last night. Sure, the graphics are pretty, but I'm not even vaguely interested in the gameplay yet. It's a little disappointing, because I'm a huge fan of a large variety of 2D platformer/action games, such as Metroid, Castlevania, Mario, Sonic, etc. Maybe part of it is the 'pressing up' to jump dynamic that bothers me in Muramasa? I don't know, it didn't bother me at all in Rush N' Attack. Anyhow, anyone who's played this game for more than 30 minutes, please chime in and let me know if the game gets better, or if its just more of the same. It's more of a Legend of Kage/Ninja Gaiden style game (both of which I loved) than Metroid/Castlevania/Sonic/Mario, but I think if you give it a chance it might grow on you. Shawn
Yep, I played it through on hard only to find out when I beat it that you unlock "really hard" and that mode is the only way to get one of the swords. Aside from that as a let down the whole game was wicked.
