atarijagplayer
Vid Grid on the Atari Jaguar is a cool game. And it's got some wicked videos! Anyone agree? I love that game! It is funny that they blurred out the Blond girl giving the finger at the end of the Aerosmith video. I once heard Atari was working on Country Grid and Kid Grid, too bad nothing transpired! ovalbugmann
Yeah, pretty cool FMV game and quite challenging. Your probably talking about Alicia Silverstone(the blond girl) in the Areosmith video, she was in "Clueless", "The Babysitter"(R-rated Mature Themes ), and in "Batman & Robin" as Batgirl. Hey, anyone have any tips or hints on how to do the slider puzzles in VidGrid??? I can't get past those levels. Once I get one part of the video completed I have to mess it up because I have to slide the other parts of the picture into place and it trashes the part already done. I think the manual says to start from one of the corners? - that didn't seem to make it easier. Any strategies for these ancient type of puzzles(slider) would be great! +Stephen Moss
I also like VidGrid and can not solve the puzzles in slider mode, becasue the imges keep changing you have to try and remember where you have moved block that were correct to which is not easy. If you suffer from motion sickness like me it is even more difficult. I also like it (and American Hero) as a demonstration of the Jags power, the fact that is can shunt that much video about and with a good image quality (if your don't stand to close to the display) is in my opinion quite impressive considering when it was developed.
