When I built mine I bought a whole set of Mr Sketch scented pens just to get a black one... it may still smell a little licorice. That particular type of pen wasn't easy to find in Sweden so I had to buy it off eBay. I even wounded the wire on a pipe and heated it to get the curled wire. I have thought about how to be able to get the nice same type of silvery text on it but for now it has the Mr Sketch text. Also thought about how much it would change the price to have professionally made PCB:s... on the plus side these have oxide protection with that usually green paint instead of bare copper.
