GregadetH
Just finished my sons birthday present. It's an Iron Man themed Sega Genesis, A/V modded and custom painted. I replaced the SEGA logo with a GREG logo 'cos GREGORY just wouldn't fit. I just have to touch up some spots tomorrow (like his name & a few spots where I smudged the paint) spray the controller ports gold and then clear coat it. You can't see it but there's also gold metallic flakes on the d-pad, fire buttons and bottom half of the controller too. Not bad for a first ever paint mod. BTW, this was a $4 Goodwill find. Ka-chow! GregadetH
Thanks! I wish the name would have turned out better, but I'm satisfied. I'm sure it'll look much better after I touch it all up tomorrow.

RevEng
It's quite pretty! I like the fact that his name isn't machine perfect. It gives it a hand-crafted look, and I mean that in a good way!

GregadetH
Thanks guys! I actually repainted the top half. Tried to make the name look a little better. I used a can krylon gloss cherry red, a small can of gold metallic from Hobby Lobby, krylon primer and bulldog adhesion promoter. I finished it off with a clear coat, but it dried to a rough finish on the top half of the console instead of smooth for some odd reason. It's cool though! Here's a few more pics.
