General comments:

Here's my current wantlist. I'm not doing a lot of purchasing right now, so this thread is mainly intended as a reference for folks who might want to trade with me.

My full collection can be seen at NintendoAge under my username there (bronzeshield), but some details are missing, e.g. which Intellivision overlays I have/still need, which games I only have homemade inserts or Xeroxed manuals for, which 3DO games have longboxes, etc.

For more detail on my Sega collection, see here for a link to my list at Sega-16; for more detail on my Intellivision and 3DO collections, see below. Everything else should be covered at NintendoAge.

I'm always interested in completing incomplete games, especially manuals. I don't collect boxes for NES/SNES, Atari systems, ColecoVision, cart-based computer games, portable systems, or Vectrex. (I have some N64 boxes but am not especially attached to them.)

My main collecting priorities are:

- completing my Intellivision and 32X sets,
- rounding out my library for Sega systems (especially Genesis),
- and picking up certain other items (SNES enhancement chip games, 3DO games, etc.).

But I'm really a gamer, not a collector. so I'm not so interested in collecting for its own sake -- the Inty and 32X are the only systems where I'm aiming for something like completism. Still, you're welcome to make an offer. For example, I like picking up cheap games for the original Game Boy, so if you see something you want on my sale/trade list and have a pile of GB games you don't play, let me know what you've got!

If it's not listed, I probably don't collect or own it. (Examples: Atari 5200, Neo Geo, most recent systems except the GameCube and GBA.)

3DO

There are a few games I might be interested in acquiring if the price is right, such as Killing Time (original version in longbox). Here's what I already have:

Loose discs with manual: AD&D: DeathKeep, AD&D: Slayer, Foes of Ali, Rise of the Robots, Samurai Shodown

Longbox, no manual: Jurassic Park Interactive

CIB (jewel case, all Japanese): Doctor Hauser, Dragon Tycoon Edge, Flopon the Space Mutant, Flopon World, Gakkou no Kowai Usawa: Hanako-san ga Kite!!, Insector War, J League Virtual Stadium, Lemmings, Oyaji Hunter Mahjong, Pro Yakyuu Virtual Stadium, Rush 'N' Fire Megadas, Sangokushi IV (Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV), Short Warp, T&E VR Golf: Masters Harukanaru Augusta 3, Tower of Puzzle (aka Peter Frankl's Puzzle Pagoda), Ultraman

Only jewel case insert: Doom

Atari

Atari 2600:

I have a Harmony cart so I'm generally not collecting carts for the VCS, but I am interested in manuals that I don't have.

Also, there are some commons/uncommons I'd like to get for my family back home, as I have a pet project of restoring their Atari collection to what it was when I was a kid (plus tons of extras). Specifically, I might be interested in the following games and/or manuals for them (no boxes):

Carts and (if possible) manuals needed for family: Plaque Attack

Manuals needed for family: Airlock, Basketball, Carnival, Casino, Championship Soccer, Commando Raid, Crackpots, Dark Chambers, Dig Dug, Eggomania, Fast Food, Home Run, Human Cannonball, Journey Escape, Mario Bros., Mega Force, Megamania, Midnight Magic, Phoenix, Porky's, Pressure Cooker, RealSports Tennis, Shark Attack, Skiing, Space Cavern, Super Breakout, Super Challenge Football, Swordquest: Fireworld (just comic book), Towering Inferno, Trick Shot, Turmoil, Video Checkers, Winter Games, Wizard of Wor

Homebrews are also welcome.

------------------

Atari 7800:

Ideally I'd like to hold out for a Harmony cart for the 7800, but while we wait I'm potentially interested in cheap 7800 games I don't have. I'm open to trading Intellivision commons for 7800 carts. Homebrews are welcome too.

Boxes aren't wanted, but manuals are welcome. Here's a list of what I have now:

Cart & manual: Asteroids, Ballblazer, Choplifter, Dig Dug, Food Fight, Joust, Ms. Pac-Man, Pole Position II, RealSports Baseball, Tower Toppler

Cart only: Donkey Kong Junior, F-18 Hornet, Karateka, Mario Bros., Pete Rose Baseball, Rampage, Title Match Pro Wrestling, Tomcat: The F-14 Fighter Simulator, Touchdown Football, Water Ski

Manual only: Centipede, Dark Chambers, Galaga (2 copies!), Hat Trick, One-On-One Basketball, Robotron: 2084, Xevious

------------------

Atari Jaguar:

Here's what I have so far:

CIB: Checkered Flag, Hover Strike, Iron Soldier, Troy Aikman NFL Football
Cart & manual: Kasumi Ninja, Trevor McFur in the Crescent Galaxy

Cart only: Cybermorph

I'm open to getting more!

ColecoVision

I'm strictly low-key on this system for now. I have a handful of loose games (most with manuals), and a large pile of "unmated" manuals:

Cart & manual: Carnival, Congo Bongo, Cosmic Avenger, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Fortune Builder*, LadyBug, Mouse Trap, Slither, Space Fury, Space Panic, Time Pilot, Zaxxon
* = have strategy guide, need manual

Cart only: Activision Decathlon, Beamrider, Buck Rogers, Dam Busters, Defender, Jungle Hunt, Looping, Tournament Tennis, Turbo, WarGames

Manual only: BurgerTime, Cabbage Patch Kids, Centipede, Gorf, The Heist, Ken Uston Blackjack/Poker, Miner 2049er, Popeye, Q*bert, Subroc, Super Action Baseball

I'll consider certain trades, but ultimately I'm planning on going multicart for the CV. There's just not enough room in my house, or my heart, for two phone-keypad based systems. icon_mrgreen.gif

Computers

Commodore 64:

I'd be interested in certain text adventures and RPGs, especially CIB. Otherwise, I'm keeping it low-key for now.

------------------

Tandy CoCo 1/2/3:

I need a 2-button joystick. Otherwise, let me know what you've got.

------------------

TI-99/4A:

I have a small collection of TI-99/4A carts, and might be open to getting more games in a trade.

Intellivision

Most-desired items are in bold.

Games needed: Body Slam: Super Pro Wrestling, Congo Bongo, Spiker! Super Pro Volleyball, Stadium Mud Buggies, Super Cobra, Tutankham

I also don't have Word Fun or Learning Fun I & II, nor Triple Challenge or Melody Blaster (ECS), but those aren't a priority right now. I won't turn down a freebie, though. icon_mrgreen.gif

Homebrews/repros needed: 4-Tris, Blix, Brickout, and the two Activision repros. icon_smile.gif

Outside of variants and alternate releases like D1K Arcade, I think I have almost everything else except the Hover Bovver "half-cut" edition (not interested) and Game Factory (waiting for the tech issues to get fixed).

I'd also be interested in some or all of the repro boxes.

Boxes/manuals/overlays needed:

Beamrider - need M
Dig Dug - need box
Diner - need box
Fathom - need box, 2 OV, M
Jetsons' Ways With Words (ECS) - need box, M
Lady Bug - need box, M
Melody Blaster (ECS) - need box, 2 OV, game itself (have M)
Pac-Man (Atari) - need M
Pole Position - need box
River Raid - need box
Slap Shot Super Pro Hockey - need box, M
USCF Chess - need box, M
Worm Whomper - need box

Nintendo

NES:

Not actively collecting for this system, and long-term, my plan is to get a flashcart. However, I might be swayed by an offer of certain RPGs and Koei games (e.g. Deadly Towers, Wizardry I & II), especially if they're CIB or at least include the manual/maps.

------------------

Game Boy/GBC/GBA:

I have an EverDrive now so I don't need GB/GBC games right now, but manuals are welcome. I'm not looking for GBA games at the moment.

------------------

SNES:

Since I have a Super EverDrive, I'm mainly looking for games that won't work on that. I now have all the US-based enhancement chip games or Japanese substitutes (e.g. Rockman X2 and X3).

I'd be interested in the European exclusive Winter Gold (I have Dirt Racer), certain JP enhancement chip games I don't have yet, and translated repros of JP enhancement chip games (I have Star Ocean).

Otherwise, feel free to send a list of whatever you've got. I have over 100 carts already, and I'm not a SNES completist by any means, but there's plenty of stuff I'd like to grab. I don't want boxes, but manuals are welcome.

------------------

N64:

I don't play my N64 that often, and my long-term plan is to get an EverDrive for it, but feel free to let me know what you have. I'd like to get Mario Tennis.

------------------

GameCube:

Here are some bits and pieces I need:

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker - need disc (have case & M, both Greatest Hits)
Mario Party 4 - need disc (have case & M)
Robotech: Battlecry - need M
Sonic Heroes - need M
Super Smash Bros. Melee - need disc (have case & M)
Turok: Evolution - need case & M

Otherwise I might be interested in certain games, e.g. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 or Worms Blast.

Odyssey2

I have the 233-in-1 multicart, all three board games, 17 other CIB games, and Kill The Attacking Aliens (cart + manual). Sid the Spellbinder and recent homebrews (Fatso!, Mayhem, etc.) aren't on the multicart. What else should I have that will run on my NTSC system?

Philips CD-i

I wouldn't mind a controller splitter.

PlayStation

I'd love to complete some of my incomplete games, though some are more important than others:

have disc, need trayliner/case & manual: Bogey Dead 6, Cool Boarders 2, Deathtrap Dungeon, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy IX (also need Disc 1), Hydro Thunder, Misadventures of Tron Bonne, South Park Rally, You Don't Know Jack: Mock 2 (also need Disc 2)

have disc & trayliner/case, need manual: Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 22, Final Fantasy Anthology, Gunfighter: The Legend of Jesse James, Gunship (longbox version), Spongebob Squarepants: Supersponge, Street Fighter - Ex Plus Alpha, Tail of the Sun

have disc & manual, need trayliner/case: Battle Arena Toshinden, Crime Killer, The Flintstones' Bedrock Bowling, Mortal Kombat 4, One, Parasite Eve, Rogue Trip: Vacation 2012

have case & manual, need disc: Brain Dead 13, Command & Conquer, Command & Conquer: Red Alert, Defcon 5, DiscWorld, Lemmings 3D, Philosoma, Silverload, StarBlade Alpha, X-Com: UFO Defense
have manual, need case & disc: Punky Skunk, Xenogears
have case, need manual & disc: Klonoa, Panzer General, Psychic Detective

Sega

Sega Master System/Game Gear:

Here is a list of my SMS stuff. I have seven of the eight 3D games and would be interested in getting the last one -- Outrun 3D -- though I'm not looking to spend lots of cash to do so (trades are welcome though).

I also need some other bits and pieces:

need case & manual: Secret Command, Vigilante
need manual: Great Golf, Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap, Y's: The Vanished Omens
need cart & manual: Parlour Games, Wonder Boy in Monster Land

As for the Game Gear, I have an EverDrive-GG now, so I'm probably not interested in getting more games at the moment.

------------------

Sega Genesis/Sega CD:

Here is a list of the Genesis and Sega CD stuff I own, including a list of boxes and manuals I need. Feel free to send me a list of what you have available for trade, though I'm not generally interested in sports games.

Since I have an EverDrive-MD now, I'm not collecting as actively, but I'm potentially up for trading for certain CIB games, especially RPGs. The following titles come to mind:

Bubble and Squeak
Phantasy Star IV
Warsong

------------------

Sega 32X:

I'm hoping to complete my US set, and need just one more game CIB:

Spider-Man: Web of Fire

And I need the following parts:

Kolibri - need M

I also wouldn't mind an original copy of FIFA Soccer '96 or a repro of DarXide. Not so interested in a repro of Sangokushi IV until a translation patch comes out, but I might be interested in an original copy if it's relatively cheap (not likely!).

------------------

Sega Saturn:

My Saturn collection is very modest, and for now I'm not planning to expand it, but a few bits I might like:

Heir of Zendor - need box, M

Virtual Hydlide - need disc, box

------------------

Sega Dreamcast:

Here is a list of my Dreamcast stuff. I'd love to complete some of my incomplete games:

need manual: Evolution 2, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Silver
need trayliner: Speed Devils
need manual & trayliner: Shenmue (also need Disc 4), Xtreme Sports
need disc: Sword of the Berserk: Guts' Rage, Test Drive: Le Mans, Wetrix+ (replacement for non-working disc)
need disc & trayliner: Time Stalkers
need disc & manual: Mr. Driller, Starlancer

Vectrex

I'm not actively collecting for this system, but feel free to let me know what you have. Certainly there are plenty of overlays and manuals I could use, and most homebrews would be welcome. Here's what I already have:

CIB: I, Cyborg, Vector Pilot, Vectrexians, Warrior
cart, overlay & manual: Clean Sweep, Scramble, Solar Quest
cart & overlay: Armor Attack, Blitz!, Heads Up, Hyperchase, Spike
cart & manual: Animaction
cart only: 72-in-1 multicart, Fortress of Narzod, Pole Position, Space War, Web Wars
overlay & manual, no cart: Berzerk

Other things I want:

- flashcart for ColecoVision
- SD-card or flash-based storage for the C64
- Longhorn Engineer or comparable AV mod for Atari 2600
- modding/repair service for a Genesis Model 1 (looking for regular AV connectors, 10/12 MHz overclock, and PAL/JPN region switch)
- Various peripherals: SNES Super Scope, Genesis Menacer, Dreamcast fishing controller (none of these is a high priority)

I'll update this list with a few more things soon.

Also, let me note again that I'm not looking to buy anything right now -- money's tight, so this is just a reference list for trading purposes. I'll include links to and from my FS/T threads here:

  • 1 year later...

One year later! I've been updating this list steadily, and I think it's time for a bump related to manuals. Here goes:

I've been accumulating manuals for various systems in a low-key way, and I'm trying to slowly pair up all my loose carts with manuals. In some cases, I'm even potentially interested in acquiring manuals for games I don't have, especially for systems for which I have flashcarts and multicarts.

NB: I'm not looking to pay big bucks, or aggressively go after any of these. Nor am I searching for mint condition stuff. Really, I'm mainly looking for trades -- and would be very interested in trading some of my extra Intellivision or Genesis stuff for manuals I don't have. (See my sale/trade thread for more info.)

My first post above covers all my Sega, Vectrex, and Intellivision needs, so just scroll up for those (see the Sega-16 link for my Genesis/Sega CD/32X list). It also covers my needs for disc-based systems -- right now I'm not looking to acquire manuals for any disc-based games I don't already own.

That leaves Atari 2600, SNES, Game Boy systems, and N64. All of those are systems that use cardboard boxes, and which I don't collect CIB. Not coincidentally, they're systems where loose manuals are of particular interest to me.
