+skr
Damn, found no time to increase my Frogger score, even I had a Retro-gaming weekend. But organizing such an event besides my normal work is a lot of work. Take a look at what machines we had: http://skriegel.de/muna2010 And if you speak German, listen to KielPod 791 at www.kielpod.de, there´s an uncut interview with me starting at about 3:20. snip Nibbly: Not more than 1515 in Level 1. How do you get such high scores there? Where are the hints? My best score until now: 7900

a8isa1
Now this is funny! I've been working at the bonus for highest round for so long that I forgot how to complete round #8 (and probably others)! UGH! Anyway, my bid for highest round obtained (codes allowed if earned) is round 27. I have no clue as to how to get past that one. -Steve
a8isa1
Finally got through round 8 again. 14,985 Round 13 is really tough. How do you get such high scores there? Where are the hints? My best score until now: 7900 I finally got this thing to boot up on my Atari 800XL. I had to use the ATR version. Hint for getting highest score in first round is in my screenshot. You need to find the shortest path that eats up all the dots and then be expert at using the joystick. This is the first few times I tried it-- never heard about it before.

I think Divya was talking about Nibbler , this game is steady and you get a rest between lives/rounds so that's good, more time to listen to that tune Yes folks, codes allowed for the high-round bonus challenge. Blinking eck atariksi, 1,565 you're a fast learner! I've got two days left to get a lot better at this one otherwise I'll come back to potentially being out of the top 10 Am going to put the vote on tomorrow... am thinking of a doubles round so if anyones got two games that go together as a suggestion post it here before tomorrow night
sloopy
hmmm seems i am gonna have to figure out how to get that 1570... and i need to get my 130XE back together, as the 800XL i am using the KB doesnt work, the ribbon is cracked. and that makes the highest level comp a little more difficult... sloopy. Maybe I'll experiment with PAL/NTSC using same pattern to see if it's making a difference.

a8isa1
I managed a 1535 for the first round (but no pic). Round 13 is giving me fits. While going for the highest round (with codes allowed) it took me between 10 and 20 tries to get through that round. I can't remember how I did it either. -Steve

I´m on PAL too by default, but got some NTSC XEGS which I will try with that game later on. :-)

In 1 life! 1 HSC point each, for the top three players reaching the highest rounds, plus an extra point for the highest person." So in 1 life. And you get a bonus point for the highest person; my height is about 5 feet so I have no shot at that as there must be some people here taller than me, but I'll keep trying. Well, I did do it in one life. Scratch that, I just tried it again, and was only able to get 1555 points (and that was the fastest I've ever done it), so I must have lost a life on that first one.
