Max, I think you'd have a tough time getting anywhere near what it's worth as a collection right now for a couple of reasons.

First, the economy still isn't anywhere near where it was, (although we've been lucky in Canada and are in better shape than most), chances are you'd likely be looking at a US or European buyer. The classic games market has definitely pulled back from its peak pricing wise.

Secondly, most people who would want this sort of collection and can afford it, already have all or most of the games.

I think you'll have a much better chance breaking this up, this is definitely a case of the whole being worth less than the sum of its parts.

To that end, if you decide to sell, I'd be interested in a number of your games, Congo, LF 1 and 2, Turbo among others...and oh yah, if Rev offers you $250 for the works just say NO.icon_mrgreen.gif

Cheers, Chris

With such an extensive collection, what is your motivation to get out? Need money in a down economy?

I hate to see someone who has obviously put some time and effort (not to mention money) into a collection make such a drastic move.

It does make me wonder, based on cmart's comments, if I will ever see any return on investment with my own stuff. Oh well, that is not my primary reason for collecting anyway.
