Zonie
That's easy. The trusty CX-40. Nothing will ever compare to the original. A CX-10 is better.
keilbaca
I no longer have that stick, unfortunately. Right now my favorite stick is the CX-41. The Flashback 2 stick.
+sixersfan105
I'm surprised there's no mention of the Kraft Mazemaster. Short throw makes it very accurate, and has a 4-way/8-way switch on the bottom. Here's a stock image of the one I have and love...

I'm going to have to look for one of these.
AtariBrian
Not the most comfortable joystick. And I think they have a cheap feel to them.

retrorussell
I always liked the Coleco Gemini controller. A fairly slim joystick and a paddle on top with button on the side. Worked just great for me.
+sramirez2008
I’ve been sticking to Suncom joysticks lately. They have a short throw and pretty good build. Here’s my latest pickup.
keithbk
I had a the SunCom StarFighter. My favorite always has been and always will be the SunCom Slik Stik. I like the feel of it and if you have ever taken one apart, you know how simple it is to clean/repair this unit. A metal ball extends down from the joystick and makes contact with any of the four metal plates to complete the circuit. Cleaning could not be easier and it is simple to do regular maintenance. +sixersfan105
How do you guys rank the Suncom sticks? Slik Stick, StarFighter and TAC-2 in what order?

I have all three and actually would rank them in this order. Of course this is subjective and I’m sure others will rank the Tac-2 first. The Tac-2 is the largest of the three and has a bit more weight than the others. I honestly don’t think you can go wrong with any of these. IMO Suncom made pretty good joysticks.
adam242
I love my TAC-2s... great responsiveness and a short throw. Work well with my A8s and a nice style-match for my 7800.

Yeah I was thinking a TAC-2 would be a good style-match for my recently acquired TI-99/4A, too (complete with 2600 joystick adapter, of course)!
