JamesD
Another great classic game ported to the Oric. The initial version is missing the sampled sound but that is in the works. Link

Link Wait, someone ported a game to a vacuum cleaner? I kid. I actually had never heard of this particular microcomputer. That it is British explains why. Still, I always am fascinated to find out about obscure early computer brands.

Link Can you actually complete the mission in this version or did you translate the buggy 7800 code? I didn't write it so I'm not really sure. I believe the author wrote it from scratch so I'd guess that you can complete it.
The Usotsuki
I'd figure if it was ported it was from the C64. Apple ][ is also a possibility.
JamesD
I believe the author used the C64 version as a guide but the code is his own.

Twilighte
He normally writes the code from scratch from what i understand. Where is the fun in converting a game from another system? To be the most fun is had from observing the behaviour of the game elements and rewriting the game from scratch. I have not seen the Atari version, only C64, Spectrum and Electron/BBC And yes the game is completable, even in impossible mode (Difficulty level and 2 hours game time). In the 80's porting was popular, particularly from the Spectrum to Amstrad and BBC to Electron but rarely did the port take advantage of the destination machines true capabilities.
