Atari8bitCarts
this was the first thing that popped in my head when I saw it what does this have to do with this topic?
Missile-Commander
Looking at the product link that was quoted by Cybercylon which was eBay Auction -- Item Number: 301658094149 , and then discussing it. I meant to do a multi quote. My mistake.

Atari_Bill
What is this VGA system anyways? Seems like a steaming pile of BS, and what is a game sealed in a acrylic coffin good for anyway? You called it. VGA is exactly a steaming pile of BS. Nothing more than a way to fleece suckers from their money for no real benefit.

7800fan
Maybe he's trying to eBay his way to a house? Like that infamous red paper clip deal
7800fan
eBay Auction -- Item Number: 121684877047 Not quite rare, yet this seller wants a lot for this power brick. Not only that but he also claimed dual voltage 110/220 but the label on it shows only 100v. If anyone buys that and lives in 220v region, the brick will probably be like firework. Hmmm USA houses do have 220v around some appliances like dryer and electric oven. Wonder if I can find plug adapter or just wire a standard 110v outlet to 220v line and then test that adapter. Under eBay police I can return it for being not as described if it explodes or catches on fire while run off 220v line.

7800fan
eBay Auction -- Item Number: 171850881328 Pretty sure NEC and TTI didn't use dark blue bottom CD for their games. The seller's either a clueless idiot for selling a CD-R he got in a trade or he's an idiot who thinks he could scam with CD-R. He probably doesn't realize TurboCD and PCE CD system predates CD-R technology and generally have a hard time reading CD-R. Some Duo is more forgiving but still... Just another seller to put on shitlist.

Just another seller to put on shitlist. Tough to tell with the way his camera flash reflected back. How easy would it be to reproduce the front of the CD? Mind you, I am would not be an expert in spotting a fake for the TurboCD as I am not familiar with the hardware or software....

Mind you, I am would not be an expert in spotting a fake for the TurboCD as I am not familiar with the hardware or software.... Another tip that it's a fake: look at the center ring. NEC and TTI didn't have print to ring design, they left a large area of the center clear. The one listed in auction it's printed black almost all the way to the center hole. Common with printable CDRs.
tep392
It looks printed to me due to the rought texture. The real CD's have a smooth finish.

And the burn line on the bottom from it not filling the whole disc. Could have at least buffed the ISO to fill the whole size.

+sramirez2008
eBay Auction Item Number: 291398405749 The seller is asking $179.95 for Toy Shop Trouble. Personally, I think this is one of the best HBs created, but am I missing something here? Seller calls it an original release, but wouldn't one of the Holiday Greeting Carts actually count as an "Original" release?
