justclaws
Hello, I'm a little late to the party, and the Battlesphere + 7 other games I have on order have yet to arrive (only 5 to go) but for now these photos will do:The shelves are for the empty boxes. I see you have an ultra-rare DVD-R game for the Jaguar on that pile. Seriously though, good to see a growing collection, but that Jag wants a polish. You know, all these years and I've never really had a "gaming nook" for my Jaguar, so perhaps I need to just take a photo of each part of my collection and post them on my web-site, my collection is scattered across >2 locations! Cheers, thanks for posting, JustClaws.
MegaManFan
Thanks Claws. I did lightly clean the dust off my Jag CD player before taking the photos but honestly I didn't know what to "polish" it with because I'm afraid of damaging the plastic or getting liquids inside the CD unit itself, which as we both know is pretty expensive and irreplaceable on the market in general (I paid a hefty sum for mine but I also probably picked a time when they were in high demand on "the Bay"). My collection grows nearer to complete every day but that Braindead 13 seems to get farther and farther away.
+Sauron
Nice collection, MMF! Funny that your N64 has more dust on it than the Jag.

doctorclu
Wanted to share some pictures of my latest setup or specifically how it's set up. I am happy with the wooden cassette case I have holding the cartridges, and the Jag/CD sits in this dremal modified "Dreamstation" casing with ready access to CD's or cartridges from the top, and when I need a controller, I pull open the front flaps and I have controllers in there with extension cables. Or just store them away when not used. Fun stuff. Featured below, an original picture of the Dream Station, and six pictures of my setup. (Dreamstation on E-bay right now if anyone is interested for their Jaguar... http://cgi.ebay.com/DREAMSTATION-CASE-HOLD...1QQcmdZViewItem Edited August 31, 2006 by doctorclu

Did you have to modify the Dreamstation for use with your Jag? How did you manage it? Is it difficult? Thanks for letting us know.
doctorclu
I like your "Dreamstation approach". Did you have to modify the Dreamstation for use with your Jag? How did you manage it? Is it difficult? Thanks for letting us know. Thanks! Really easy, make a stencil of the outline of the JagCD (I traced on a newspaper) and cut the stencil out. Line up to where the Jaguar will be sitting towards the back and where the JagCd will need to be. Put the stencil in the right place, draw around the stencil, and then dremel cut the outline out. Sand the rough edges down, and now you have a hole that only the JagCD will be showing through. And that's really it. I painted over the "Dream Station" on the front with black paint, but might sand that down smoother and later add Jaguar designs and decals to the casing. Not sure. Yeh the nice thing about this is I can stack my 7800 on top of the JagCD Station and still be able to play cartridge games without moving the 7800. im_reg
My updated collection. Not included game boxes but do have them. Facebook group Jaguar Fans; http://www.new.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=...mp;id=628776715 I finally got round to taking a photo including all the boxes. and here's my recent additions (arrived today from Telegames). New Boxed CD Unit as I previously only had the unboxed unit. Also got the games World Tour Racing CD, Iron Solider 2 CD (unboxed), Hover Strike CD and Zero 5 cartridge. Also got the packaged CD games Blue Lightning, Vid Grid, Myst Demo and Tempest 2000 soundtrack. I already had these so I swapped these new ones for my used ones which will now be going on Ebay. Telegames also sent me (for free) mint brand new games, Baldies and Myst. I already had these but WOW, how nice is that?! doctorclu
Congrats im_reg! Battlesphere Gold is a fun one to have, though strangely I mainly used it for a bypass and JUGS loader for a while. And nice layout of the collection! The boxes (for the console) look like they are in nice shape! Made me proud to be a Jaguar fan.

I got my first one full price from a catalouge company here in the U.K. called Hays. Think I paid around 180GBP for it. The other two I managed to pick up from a store called Game when they were selling cheap along with some games and also Lynx consoles. Think I picked up the other two Jags at around 20-30GBP each. I bought them as spares basically just in case my first one kicked the bucket.
Jakenut86
I have only just recently started to collect for the Jag, so I don't have much yet. Made the spotlight out of an old broken 2600 controller . The carts beside the Jag are Tempest 2000, Ultra Vortek, Cybermorph 1&2mb versions, Flip Out!, and Dino Dudes. I'm still waiting for my NIB controller, cart only Iron Soldier, and Bubsy. Troy Aikman Football, White Men Can't Jump, Checkered Flag, Theme Park, Mutant Penguins and Club Drive are just the boxes and manuals but I have Aikman, White Men, Checkered Flag, and Theme Park carts on the way. Dragon, Brutal Sports, and Cannon Fodder are CIB.
kevincal
Boy some of those Jaguar boxes sure look familiar! And is that one of my favorite movies of all time I see!? TOTAL RECALL! What do you think of Trevor McFur? I remember I didn't like it at all at first because I got my ass handed to me over and over. However several weeks ago I made it my mission to get good at the game. Once you learn what all of the special weapons do, the game becomes a lot of fun imo. Also not so hard to complete the game after awhile. Jakenut86
Yeah at first Trevor wasn't much fun, but after playing for awhile its really not all that bad. And most of my boxes did come from you as did some of my games ! Total Recall was a great movie, I used to have the Genesis game too but don't know where it went off too. im_reg
I love the 2600 spot light. Nice touch. I'd be tempted to put a colour filter on the light. Maybe even one of those multi colour rotating ones! lol
