Intellivision Ebay Roundup

Recommended Posts

I'm working on them! I do have the sealed lackaging Spiker after all, so I already have the granddaddy of them all. :)

Hehe... Yeah, I've got a totally lackaging version (plain Spiker label) and the Deluxe Collector's Lackaging Limited Edition one with the manual and VOLLEYBALL label in exquisite .00001 mil LLDPE!

Only have the fackaging for the box though. (i.e. the beautiful reproduction box)

Slightly off topic, but was that some homebrew updates I just spotted on intvfunhouse? I believe they were.... :)

Couple of thoughts...maybe change Joe's company to Zbiciak Electronics/Left Turn Only Productions.

Great to see Intelligentvision added, will Elektronite be next? Followed by GroovyBee Productions (or whatever GB ends up calling his Intellivision production company) :)

I'm waiting to hear back from Joe about the progression from Zbiciak to LTO - i.e. should they be treated as separate entities, etc.

Elektronite is certainly on the roadmap -- need to create an appropriate .css for that page and update the horribly out-of-date 'independent' category. GroovyBee will likely be the last one to get around to. Yeah. funny how things pile up over 8 years of neglect. Doesn't help that the HDD from my previous machine is hosed ... not sure if the backups had the emails and related docs saved that were contributions from all around. It costs a lot for data recovery when a severe crash hits.

I sent an email through the "contact" part of the site, is that still working?

I have sent messages through the contact section as well. Steve, you should try Carbonite or similar. $55/ year to back up your stuff.

Oh I have a backup, and have even restored it. But I haven't sifted through the wreckage. It wasn't a system image backup, and the machine apparently committed suicide in a fit of jealousy just as I finished building the new one. :D It was nearly 7 years old and the accrual of all the apps and drivers and whatnot that weren't part of the backup is the nasty part. That and the backup app (memeo) pretty much s*cks b*lls -- along w/ me missing a few things doesn't help.

But, we should keep this thread on-topic.

Anyone go for the shrinkwrapped stuff ending just now (Ice Trek and a couple other Imagic and ECS titles)?

Well if you need to sell the Sears, let me know. :-) I can trade a computer and keyboard unit for it... or use that primitive thing called cash or paypal.

I know it's a common problem around here, but I couldn't stop myself bidding on this one: http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2F330970637293%3FssPageName%3DSTRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT%26_trksid%3Dp3984.m1497.l2649

I have a pretty small collection, so there were quite a few in there that I didn't have, and I like the extra controllers.

Box for the voice module is also something that I don't have.

Hey, Cool! I never had the Computer or keyboard, I'm assuming it's this which doesn't seem to do much... but would add to my collection, and I think there is such a thing as having too many Intellivisions ;D

I'll private msg ya when they do come in and see if they work or not. Guess I won't be painting it then icon_wink.gif and no pick fork crowds outside mah door

Over 80 bucks for a Kool Aid Man? Even if its minty, what the hell?!

It just seems very rare to find that box in good condition. I know that my copy is acceptable to (maybe) good and I've had a few pass through my hands ... none of them ranking any better than good.

Still, I wouldn't pay anyone that much for it ... but to a collector that wants quality ... yeah, I can see it.

These French-Canadian Intellivoice games sold pretty high... I wanted them but my highest bids weren't even half the final price. Bad time to collect with these prices :_(

Same two guys drove the price up and one of them ended paying way too much.

So $200+ for a homebrew is ok, but $100 for a rare original game is not?

Ok so I do not pretend to be an atari, intellivision or odyssey 2 collector by any means but when I found a couple of deals the past few weeks I could not help but buy them in hopes to make some extra money for my NES and SNES collections. Power Lords for Odyssey 2 is the gem of the finds and as for the Intellivision stuff there are quite a few white label titles. Check out the auctions and message me via ebay if you have any questions, thanks for checking them out in advance.
