ydcl
Hi all, My Turbo Grafx 16bit just arrived and as I was setting it up I noticed that I can't find where the ac adapter connects to... Can someone please tell me where do I plug it? I can only find the Tv connector... I feel stupid... Thanks a lot, Yan

Chris Leach
...and you can put your weenie in there too! If you put that in there, be sure to pull out before you clip the plastic back in place..that could leave a scar if you didn't!
A_Locomotive
If you haven't already done so do yourself a huge favor and buy Bonk's Adventure. I played the hell out of that game on my buddies TurboGrafx-16 as a kid, recently bought it on virtual console for the Wii, its aged very well and is still a blast!

I will eventually get Bonk's Adventure, It came with 4 games: Bloody Wolf, Keith Courage in Alpha Zones, TV Sports Football, and Power Golf... and a multitap with 3 controllers. I eventually want Legendary Axe.
the.golden.ax
The Keith Courage is a great title. It gets some flak for being the pack in, but for some reason it is as dear to me as many of the so called gems for the system. AX

The TG-16 controller cords are ridiculously short.
HatefulGravey
Yay Turbo Grafx! I love that system so good. I only have a few games for it but man they are great times. I don't have this Bonks Adventure yet, but I shall. I need to hunt more games for it out. I also really want Splatter House for it. Welcome to the owners club, its great times on a credit card for everyone. EDIT: Oh, and I can't believe no one has said this yet, but get a Turbo Booster if you can. Mine came with a Turbo Booster Plus on it and its nice to have the AV outs without modding anything. HatefulGravey
I don't have, nor have I even seen, a multi-tap for the TG16. I knew they were out there, but I never looked for them. Something about the one controller port is actually kind of appealing to me. Not many people I know want to play a system they have never heard of before with someone, everyone wants to play for a while solo so the single port doesn't bother me. Also, it stands out. You don't normally see one controller port on a system. The controller for this system is really cool to me too. It feels different to me then anything else and I don't really know why. I do know the buttons are softer or something. Just cool.

the.golden.ax
The Freedom Stick by Camerica is a wireless TG16/NES stick that has dongles you can switch out. AX
Algus
What a coincidence, I just received a TG-16 today myself. So far I've really been digging the controller. It is basically what I wanted the NES Max to be all those years ago. The fact that so many components were sold as add-ons is frustrating though. Wondering now how much luck I'm going to have finding the accessories I need w/out a console. Oh well.
Arkhan
You planning on getting the CD expansion for it? You'd be crazy not to, really! You need Parasol Stars and Cadash, and NINJA SPIRIT! asap. The Turbo Grafx-16/PCE is the greatest console ever.
PsychoKittyNet
I also recently discovered the TG 16 and wow I love it! I recently picked up a multitap on eBay for 10 bucks shipped, so their not too pricey.
Eltigro
I've had my Turbo since the early 90's. Got it when it was still some competition for the Genesis and before the SNES came out. It's a favorite of my collection and one reason why my avatar pic is of Johnny Turbo.

My first priority is pretty much going to be to get the multitap and controller so that my friends and I can play Bomberman the right proper way instead of on my Wii @Eltigro Dang. I wish I would have kept such good care of my old consoles that I've had since that far back.

Eventually I'll get some additions for my systems, I am just focusing on getting the systems and some starter games... I am hoping to finally move into my own home this year and then turn the basement into a proper collection room... right now most of my stuff is in shoe-boxes and things like that. I love some of them collection rooms people have in this forum... I hope to get some furniture to put all my systems and games up for display.
