Wow. That Apple IIe Platinum is sweet! I'm wishing I had more time, space, and money to get into more retrocomputers, because that one is a beauty! I can't believe I'm tempted. No, must stay away.

But boy, that will make someone a nice retro-machine.

99'er Forever is a purveyor of really nice stuff, though! Great guy to deal with, too.

You have got the nicest stuff for sale lately 99'er Forever! Looking forward to seeing what else you've got up your sleeve icon_smile.gif

I would like a ][gs system someday, but I'd literally be starting from scratch. Absolutely nothing classic Apple wise over here and I haven't kept up with anything like this since the 80's. Looking around the 'net, seems to be a healthy amount of ][ users still though and amazes me how large some of these followings really are.

Its funny that I saw this post. I just picked up the manuals and user guides for this computer, a couple are still sealed. I was thinking to myself...where am I gonna find an Apple II?

Now that this one is sold I think I might just dump the guides.

If those are for the IIgs, i might be interested in taking them of your hands. What do you have?

Please let me know about another gs also, if Frank doesn't want it... I saw this one this morning and should have grabbed it and now I'm kicking myself! Not sure what monitor you can use with these though.

I'll post up here when I have it ready to go. You can use either a composite or RGB monitor. I'm going to bundle the next IIgs with an rgb monitor.

For Sale, complete Apple IIgs system. Includes the following:

Apple IIgs computer, rom version 3

Apple 12" RGB monitor

(1) 3.5" disk drive

(1) 5.25" disk drive

Keyboard

Mouse

Power cables and monitor cable

System has been tested and boots up fine. Disk drives spin trying to find a system disk.

The bad

Everything is yellowed due to exposure to the sun

Mouse is from a late model Mac, it will work with the machine, but it doesn't have the "retro" look

Monitor is missing one rubber foot.

Computer is missing a cover for an expansion port

Floppy drive connector at the motherboard is missing the tiny little screws that lock the cable in place.(See pic) The cable is a very snug fit on the connector and I see this as a non-issue.

No software or manuals included.

Asking $75 shipped in the US or best offer. Paypal and money orders accepted.
