Opry99er
I was thinking today about what all we've accomplished in this forum over the last year and a half (roughly)... I decided to TRY to put together a list of COMPLETED projects... Note: There are many games, hardware, and utility projects still in development and there are also many which have faded into la la land. (a few of these were mine, and life intervened) =) So... I basically tried to compile a list of all the games and utilities which were written or created here in Atariage. This list is incomplete (I'm sure) and please don't take offense to anything I've left out... It's late and I just threw this together. If you notice any omissions, please let me know on this thread and I will ammend this list. =) By the way, I left out the Crap Game Competition games for now... as far as I know the contest isn't over yet?? Hmmm...... Looks like about 30 games so far, and several which are still in development. =) I think that's a big "WOW"... Great job everyone!!!! Please remind me of the ones I missed... RGPC (retroclouds game programming competition) *Herding Cats (Keith Bergman)--XB *Honeycomb Rapture (Owen Brand)--XB SSGC (Short and Sweet Gaming Contest) **30 lines XB code, 10 lines DATA** *Lunar Rescue (Marc Hull) *TI Farmer (Codex) *Fly Guy (Codex) *TI Chronic (Codex) *Beryl Reichardt and the Helm of Wooldridge (Codex) *Chronicle of Sniffing Zombie (Sometimes99er) *Dark Maze (Adamantyr) *Space Trap (Marc Hull) *Cyber Run (Marc Hull) *Thin Ice (Keith Bergman) *Skydiver (JChase) *ZomBXB (Tursi) *TI Simon! +retroclouds
Hmmm, I'm kinda in a rush right now so can't look it up. But I think there are some more. Thinking of the tools that sometimes99er made and the sprite editor by Unhuman. The bitmap conversion tool by Tursi. Ohhh, and don't forget spectra2 and the cartridge conversion of Honeycomb Rapture
Opry99er
Thanks man!! I had forgotten that you started SPECTRA2 here on Atariage. Very sweet. Consider these added!! And was Convert9918 also a product of the forum as well? For some reason I thought it had been around for a while.... Oh well, like I said, I knew I forgot some!! Opry99er
Brilliant. Thanks!!! Man, I really missed alot. You guys are really something.
Tursi
In fairness, Convert9918 does predate our activity on these forums by several years (first published in 2006). But you could include the BASIC cartridge conversion tool (soon to be part of Classic99), I guess. Probably a good number of Classic99 extensions are due to prodding from here. Willsy
Very good point. It is seriously impressive what this forum has achieved. I've been in the TI Scene since around 2005 (after a very long hiatus) and I think more has been achieved by the members of Atariage TI Scene than has been achieved over the last 10 years. Easily. I also think the TI board here on Atariage is one of the busier ones The TI scene is down to some real hardcore members these days, but we are picking a few new guys up, which is great news. Again, that is down to Atariage. Hip hip! Hooray!
Opry99er
And picking up some of the long lost souls as well! We're lucky to have Rich here... unHUman is a programmer from the Asgard days.... Several more, I'm sure who weren't reactivated before this forum... . Great days!
Opry99er
BTW Tursi, I was pretty sure the Convert9918 had been around before AA.... I stated as much in an earlier post. . But I've learned that Filip usually knows alot more than I do, so I went ahead and posted it.

Opry99er
=) By the way, I left out the Crap Game Competition games for now... as far as I know the contest isn't over yet?? Hmmm...... That is in the top of the thread... =) I could still add them, but there's no list or "entries" thread.
unhuman
I should read better.
Opry99er
Nah, I didn't have it in my original post, so if you got an eMail notification containing the original text, it wasn't in there... I edited it in about 10 seconds after I posted the original. =)
Opry99er
Added a TON of hyperlinks to these games/utilities and whatnot... Now anyone interested in these great accomplishments can simply click and check it out. I'm still missing a couple, but you can check em out and let me know if I need to add some more. =)

Opry99er
Thanks--- I'll add that as soon as I get back to my computer. Any thoughts on making this a sticky thread? Would be nice to have one big thread at the top that contains the completed works of our AA community. There is a "In Development" thread, so to speak, but nothing quite like this. Anyone else like the idea or is it just me?
sometimes99er
Any thoughts on making this a sticky thread? Would be nice to have one big thread at the top that contains the completed works of our AA community. There is a "In Development" thread, so to speak, but nothing quite like this. Anyone else like the idea or is it just me? I think it's a fine idea. Many utilities and programming aids are however already in the "TI-99/4A development resources" thread. Maybe we could rename it "AtariAge TI-99/4A Games & Stuff" ? Maybe another pinned thread with YouTube videos cleverly arranged and linked ? unhuman
Hey unHUman--- could you post a link here to your SPRITE editor? Forgot I did that work for making it more TI-friendly (started out as a CV sprite emulator) since I've been here. Sometimes beat me to the punch.
