I'd be afraid of losing a drive that small, and the microSD card with it!

Still freaking cool though :)

Ha! How badly do you want one of these Little 810 Drives?

Very nice (one 1050 and one XF551 version for me please)!

But I would like to know something more.

For example, why is it much smaller than SDrive (and obviously SIO2SD)?

Perhaps one problem is that you cannot swap disks.

Perhaps one problem is that you cannot swap disks.

1 - Uses MicroSD instead of plain SD

2 - Has a cable wired directly in - SDrives use a port (either SIO or DB15)

3 - The SDrive was designed to be easy to put together. The only surface mount part is the SD reader.

4 - SDrive and SIO2SD have user-accessible controls (and SIO2SD has a display). This has none of that.

I know with the SDrive NUXX, once c0nsumer knew what enclosure he was using, he made the board that size, because making it smaller would only make things harder. And he wanted all the controls laid out well. He even revised the design to give extra space between components to make it easy for hobbyists to put it together.

how do you get hold of him, I can't see any way of personal contact on that site.

Only drawback I can see is not being able to swap discs/load multiple discs.

Has anyone gotten ahold of rossum to see if he'd be willing to do a run of these?

Does anyone see any drawbacks compared to the other solutions?

Couple of people have posted in his comments thread, he also stated the 3D plans and everything would be posted up eventually
