Chuck D. Head
I've been too busy at work to post till now, but here is the first batch of deals I got at Portland Retro Gaming Expo. Just the Atari 2600 stuff for now: All these were $1 each: Quick Step Pitfall II Popeye Alien ( a bit beat up) Entombed (bad end label) Sears Spelling Sears Target Fun Tron Deadly Discs Space Jockey Superman Laser Blast GI Joe California Games Lost Luggage Space Cavern red Space Cavern Blue Super Cobra (this is held together with duct tape, but I had a hankering to play it) Coconuts Sears Breakaway IV Maze Craze Maze Craze Text Raiders of the Lost Ark (one of each label variation) Worm War I Fast Food (been having fun playing this one) For $2 ea I got these CIB: A very nice sealed Space Invaders Spiderman (why couldnt others companies use boxes like Parker Bros?) Very nice boxed Laser Blast Starmaster Sky Diver I got a homebrew, Jack and the Beanstalk, which I haven't played yet, but it sounded cool for $25 And for $10, I got something I really wanted, a boxed Sears Star Raiders. The outer box is a little beat but the innards are all very nice! Now all I need is the comic. No earth-shattering deals, but lots of games to play!! I will post more later, Morgan Edited September 22, 2010 by Chuck D. Head
jumbojohnny
Hey Chuck....What comic are you looking for? I have a small stack of manuals and paperwork, and a few of them are comics. Maybe I have the one you are looking for...

SpendTooMuchOnAtari
I picked up two games from my usual spot. I brought a couple odds and ends as trade and they didn't take much but I had enough for these. I thought that the King of Monsters 2 game was a bit better in terms of value and rarity but was mistaken, still happy though! $4.99 - GC XIII (complete) $1.99 - GEN King of Monsters
STICH666
Today wasn't too bad. I went to a thrift that usually doesn't have anything electronic, let alone gaming related and found these for all of $2.
Gabsters89
I went into to a stereo shop in Bridgeport(CT's biggest city, and arguably CT's most hood city), and to my surprise found a counter with OODLES of classic gaming stuff. Everything from the 2600 to the PS3, and plenty of games. I ended up buying Galactic Pinball and Warioland for virtual boy, Raiden for the Jag, Doom(I collect Doom and it's clones on any console) and Space Harrier for 32x for 20 bucks. Gotta go back and buy out his 2600 stuff after I get my check next week.

AtariLeaf
I hardly ever see Saturn games around here. The local retro store has a few but not too many and mostly sports. I did have a nice haul of about 15-20 CIB Saturn games a year and a half ago on Kijiji for $10 for the lot. Used it as trade bait to get an 800XL and a crap load of A8 carts. You could make an excellent profit if you were to part with those. Good luck if you do, awesome find for your collection if not. Great Job! I live in SE Pa. it was at a multi family flea market/ yard sale. first my friend saw the Colecovision in the back of this dudes SUV. Then we kinda help ourself to everything else inside! lol. mind you this all took place at 5:30 am so all we had were our flash lights. The guy was really cool he was cleaning out his parents house and just wanted it all gone! And yeah this was the first for picking up VIC boxed games for me! They were in with the kids books at a mom and pop thrift. Both CIB and a buck each.

AtariLeaf
Why the hell is CoCo stuff so common in your area. LOL @ AX I don't know. Although this is the first coco stuff I've found in a while in the wild. There is still an active local coco users group here in Windsor though. They meet, I believe, the 3rd Thursday of every month. I really would like to attend one, I should make an attempt to go.
SpendTooMuchOnAtari
thanks! I live in SE Pa. I was born and raised in Lebanon, PA. Have you heard of Lebanon atarinut76? I lived there in the late 90s, early 2000s and the classic gaming stuff I pulled out of that area was amazing. Atari was everywhere!
