That's a good price for the controller but the Minestorm overlay is only worth $5-
boxpressed
More recent Vectrex craziness: Vectrex owner's manual for $46 eBay Auction -- Item Number: 320733302918 Console, original box, and two common boxed games for $232 eBay Auction -- Item Number: 160627370220 Hard to say what's jacking up the prices on stuff like Minestorm overlays and owner's manuals. Doesn't seem to be much of a pattern at all because other auctions are ending with pretty reasonable end prices.
+save2600
Some of these prices are beyond comprehension, but $74 for the controller? Gollygeewillikers, glad I bought mine from Atari2600.com for $40 or $50 a few months back. Don't forget... John Dondzilla does a helluva job converting Genesis pads for the Vec too... SO they are free to list for crazy price and hope some fool with money comes along and thinks 'OMG it's gone up! I gotta get it now!' A lot of eBay listing that has BIN only are overpriced and it's a major turn off. Lately when I look at eBay, I click auction only tab to get rid of greedy sellers. A lot of eBay listing that has BIN only are overpriced and it's a major turn off. Lately when I look at eBay, I click auction only tab to get rid of greedy sellers. don't know if you even clicked the links, because these weren't listed high or BIN's. These were bid up that high. the controller is about right. It's high, don't get me wrong, but on ebay, it's accurate. I was in the market for one, but it was too much, so I just took apart mine and fixed it. The auction with console/box/ and a few games also seems close to accurate now days. After I got my, suprisingly 2 Vectrex's on craigslist, I started following a lot of auctions closely just to make just I got a deal, which I did, and I saw some System 5-7 CIB games and 2 controllers tip the 300 scale. The minestorm overlay and owners manual are retarded though. Thats extremely high than before. Want to talk about expensive, a boxed pair of 3d glasses will instantly sell for over 1000 on ebay, yet the Light pen that everyone thinks is super expensive is only about 50 bucks. Which is comparable to the repros, in which case I'd rather have the real deal than a repro for a couple extra bucks.
