NIAD
This auction was good but...... This is not the auction we were looking at http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FColecovision-GAME-TANK-WARS-BitCorp-Complete-%2F301073076049%3Fpt%3DConsole_Giochi%26hash%3Ditem46195a8f51 Good shoot Jim! It just keeps getting better! The seller had a CIB copy of Meteoric Shower as well and we came to an agreement on that one as well. Unfortunately the manual was cannabalized for the artwork, but that wasn't going to stop me from buying this rare bird. Had some further discussions with the seller and he stated that he never saw a Strike It! CIB by Bit Corp. I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would obtain one original Bit Corp. game loose and soon (hopefully there are no hick-ups) I will have three in CIB form.

Pixelboy
Is there another post somewhere that tells the story of these Bit Corp. games? Were they sold only in Europe? I've always been under the impression that those were games sold mostly as fodder for the Bit-90 computer, and wasn't the Bit-90 an asian system? Just one thing, though -- what do you mean by "really existed"? Do you mean that some believe them to be repros or ports not intended for commercial distribution? sega_SHARK
http://bootleggames.wikia.com/wiki/Bit_Corp. http://www.old-computers.com/museum/computer.asp?c=93 Old Comuters lists the manufacture of the BIT90 as Korean, but Bit Corp is listed as Taiwanese. It looks like BIT Corp was responsible for the Dina 2 in 1 as well. This info is just from me trolling the internets so take with a grain of salt. If you come across a fake/bootleg set of all four games CIB then let me know. I do not have the money for originals. edit: http://www.colecovision.dk/clones.htm Rare because Tornadoes? Do you mean that some believe them to be repros or ports not intended for commercial distribution? For the longest time nobody could find picture proof of if these games were ever produced. The only thing we had was a european order form from the 80's that had those games on it and a flyer that had pictures of the games. We couldn't find anyone that actually said and had pictures of them owning them. The ones that NIAD got though are originals now that we have seen the difference between the originals and copies that have been made over the years.
NIAD
These are all fake/bootleg games, don't bother If you come across some, let me know and sell them to me But you only collect Sealed/NIB... so good luck with that concerning the Bit Corp. titles unless someone comes across a forgotten storage locker or warehouse with them. However, if that happens, there goes the rarity/value.
NIAD
Is there another post somewhere that tells the story of these Bit Corp. games? Were they sold only in Europe? Bit Corp. was a Taiwanese company that produced a number of game systems and computers that were usually clones or compatible with popular systems. They made the Bit 60 computer which was compatible with Atari VCS/2600 games, the Bit 90 and Dina 2-in-1 which were compatible with ColecoVision games, amongst others as you can read from the link provided above. They were sold in Southeast Asia, Europe, South America and possibly other countries as well as the games that they produced specifically in support of these systems and the added bonus for us was that their Bit 90 produced games worked on our CVs as well. There probably weren't that many sold in Europe due to the wanning popularity of the CV by the mid-80's and much more popular computer systems like the ZX Spectrum, so that's why these Bit Corp. CIBs are so extremely rare. Well, that and probably many people purchased the TeleGames releases of these games and never concerned themselves with buying the Bit produced version in the rare case that they came across one somewhere. NIAD
Rare because Tornadoes? The complete stock that TeleGames USA (Lancaster, TX) had of the Personal Arcade (aka the Dina 2-in-1) was destroyed during a tornado. I don't recall the year, but the story of this has been shared many times over.
Troy_Whelan
Niad - Would you be willing to post a PDF scan of the Meteoric Shower instruction manual? I know the game is not difficult to figure out, but I like to have instructions for everything if possible even if it is just a PDF copy. I thought I had a paper copy with my DINA system, but I sold that many years ago.
Swap_File
I put up another Colecovision with internal power supply and composite video out: http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2F171234826708 I'm pulling the sound signal from inside the RF modulator now, so it should support the 2600 expansion module, but I don't have one to test it with. Atari_Bill
Ok, now that it's in transit, I'm in need of info from my Colecovision brethren. I picked this up a few days ago hoping that it is the real deal and the tough one to find that I thought it was. At the same time, I didn't spend a ton for it so I'm also prepared for bad news like it's a repro or a common PAL version or something like that. Any help? Did I do ok? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Imagic-Tournament-Tennis-for-Colecovision-Adam-/171234439081?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27de5e2fa9
