Rex Dart
They count Master System & Mark III as two different systems?
Christophero Sly
I'm not spending the time to actually vote in those polls, but here are my opinions. 1. PONG 2. 2600 3. 7800 or NES, whatever. Frankly, I don't much care for this entire generation. 4. GeneSNES. I had both the SNES and Genesis during their heyday, and didn't make much distinction between the two. In my mind they're the same console. 5. PS1 6. XBOX 7. XBOX 360 by default because it's the only console I own from this generation.
bigbee99
First Gen: Pong. Second Gen: 2600 Third Gen: NES Fourth Gen: SNES, but only because it was the greatest system ever. Fifth Gen: N64 Sixth Gen: none of the above Seventh Gen: Wii I was with the norm until I hit the 5th generation. I didn't enjoy the 6th generation at all. Infact, the last system I bought for myself when I came out was the n64. Everything else was bought for the kids. B
theredlineboss
There are a lot of systems that I enjoy, but if I had to choose favorites: 1: Atari Pong 2: Hard choice between the 2600, INTV, and CV, but I settled on the Colecovision. 3: NES 4: Genesis 5: PS1 6: Xbox 7: Xbox 360 -Rob
Sonic R
Favorite 1st Gen Console? Pong (IF I had played an Odyssey, it may be my favorite…) Favorite 2nd Gen Console? Atari 5200 (for a close 2nd place, Colecovision and Vectrex are tied, but the 5200/CV/Vectrex trio is an amazing combination and complement each other so well!) Favorite 3rd Gen Console? (tie) NES and Sega Master System - I cannot pick one, I LOVE them both! Favorite 4th Gen Console? Turbo Grafx-16/Duo Favorite 5th Gen Console? Saturn (PSX is a very close 2nd, slightly edged by the Saturn) Favorite 6th Gen Console? PS2 (with Dreamcast at a very close 2nd) Favorite 7th Gen Console? Xbox

famicommander
Being a CD-i owner myself, I'm not one of those people who considers it a bad platform. I enjoy quite a few games on that system. But still, I have a very difficult time imagining anyone placing it above the SNES, Genesis, Turbografx-16, or Neo-Geo. What makes you consider it the best fourth generation system? AtariLeaf
1st Gen: Atari 2600 2nd Gen: Colecovision 3rd Gen: NES 4th Gen: SNES/Genesis (tie) 5th Gen: none of the above 6th Gen: DreamCast 7th Gen: Wii The 2600 and Colecovision are considered both 2nd Gen machines, despite the large gap in their release dates. The 1st Generation is mostly your pong units.
PsychoKittyNet
Lets see.... 1st Gen : Pong (Mostly due to the fact this is the only system of this gen I have had any experiance with) 2nd Gen: Atari 2600, closley folllowed by the Intellivison. 3rd Gen: NES, my favorite console. 4th Gen: SNES, with the Genesis nipping at its heals. 5th: N64/PS1 tie, I voted N64 on the poll, cause im cool like that. 6th: Xbox/Gamecube tie, voted Xbox because it had KOTOR. 7th: Xbox 360, the only modern console I own. Also Mass Effect!
A_Locomotive
1st Gen: None (I've never owned or played any first gen systems) 2nd Gen: Atari 2600 3rd Gen: NES (only system I've played from this gen) 4th Gen: Super Nintendo no contest. 5th Gen: PS1 with N64 very very close behind. PS1 gets the lead simply for its RPGs 6th Gen: Xbox, had by far the best exclusives this gen 7th Gen:

In that generation i was into pc gaming, and didn't pay attention to consoles. The TG-16, neo geo, weren't officially on the market in the Netherlands, so those to i can't vote for. And being a little bit national, i have to vote cd-i.
