Wanted Atari 400 Power Supply

Hey guys I found an Atari 400 at Goodwill and bought it yesterday. The problem is there is no power cable and I dont want to pay the $25 for the ones on ebay. Is there any new stuff that works? I thought maybe this would work but I wanna be sure it would fit the adapter plugin on the 400. Thnx

The adapter linked by you is 9VDC while 9VAC are expected. Considering the nature of Atari 400 and 800 they could work with 9VDC though.

 

I'd like to know better about this thing as some users reported that 9VDC works good.

I actually just made one the other day and have posted a basic how to here sry. Though Im still wondering about that adapter I linked.

You used a Pro-Lite PT-AD0925D, which is a 9V AC Adapter. Being it AC, there is no need to find a negative and a positive wire when it comes to making a connector. Having a powerful 2,5A Power Supply was a good choice.
