+Allan
I never saw that one...Is it a lost prototype, or is it something you have found? It was in a video on Atarimania.com. I think nobody just never noticed it before. Allan

+Allan
Weird! Any more info on this? No. I was just looking at all the videos on Atarimania.com and noticed this game which I've never seen or heard of before. It's the bottom, right hand one called Atari CED In-House Promo - Second Quarter 1983. http://www.atarimania.com/list_videos_atari-400-800-xl-xe-___8.html Allan
Greg2600
Wouldn't that be a computer game, not 5200?

Crimefighter
It may be no more than a tech demo.
+Allan
It may be no more than a tech demo. That's possible. It does imply that in the video. Allan

Greg2600
Ah, at 10:24 of the video. No name given. Personally I've never seen that game before on another system.

Yeah, that seems to make more sense. The sprites also look "monster-esque", and there are obvious matches between panels. Anyone have any ideas what this title could potentially have been? BubsyFan101
Is the something in particular that makes you think that? Allan Or some game that uses the XG-1 Edited October 6, 2012 by BubsyFan101
Lynxpro
Or some game that uses the XG-1 How is that possible when the XG-1 was an Atari Corp product years later and this proto is from Atari Inc before the 5200 was discontinued? BUMP due to discussion over at an Atari themed Facebook group...

Crimefighter
I doubt that's what it is, but it resembles the obscure arcade game Zzyzzyxx by Cinematronics after seeing footage of it today. Edited June 9, 2019 by Crimefighter
