JohnBuell
I've only ever played Decathlon on an XL, so I don't know about the support for more than two players, but the two player simultaneous during races works quite well.
bfollett
Wasn't there a split screen race car game, that let 2 players race a the same time?

+therealbountybob
By coincidence I've just found a nice game that has 2-player simultaneous play - Diamon Mine by Roklan, looks like it has cooperative or vs play - details/ATR/links in the current High Score Club "Diamonds Jubilee" round (link below). Others perhaps not mentioned so far are Tube Baddies and Mig Alley Ace both great games. Mousk Attack is also fun (but hard)... Wizard of Wor is awesome and then there's Archon I / II (we are not worthy)

+therealbountybob
Mario Brothers, Mail Order Monsters Mail Order Monsters is a nice game - it would be greatly improved if someone could make a version that didn't need all the disk swapping (1050 density disks or using 130XE's extra RAM perhaps) PLEASE PLEASE I've only ever played Decathlon on an XL, so I don't know about the support for more than two players, but the two player simultaneous during races works quite well. I think Decathlon has 2 vs 2 if you play 4 players?? The Thorn/EMI Soccer (currently playing in a Knockout tournament in the High Score Club - JOIN IN FOLKS!) is a fun multi player game (4pl) Some other good head 2 head games perhaps not mentioned so far: Bumpamov's Dogs Ataritris II Dredis Canyon Aztec Challenge Shadow World LA '84 Olympics World Karate Championships Showdown Capture the Flag Astro Warriors Atari Hockey (4pl) Killa Cylce (4pl) Dandy (4pl) Gauntlet

Thorsten Günther
Early Microprose games often seem to offer multiple player action: Chopper Rescue, MIG Alley Ace and Floyd of the Jungle springing to mind.
