lisalover1
I am looking to get into Amiga gaming, and have narrowed down my best options to a 1200 or CD32. If someone has one, please contact me; I want to get my hands on one as soon as possible!

OldSchoolRetroGamer
If your not already I suggest looking up some AMIGA focused forums. Amiga hardware tends to be very much appreciated by the people who owned them, few will let them go and when they do they tend to ask a lot for them. Good luck. twoquickcapri
Amigakits.com sell refurb 1200 for $166.40 http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=40_85&products_id=305 As for the CD32 your almost better off buying a pal unit since most games for that system are pal only. You can get them pretty easly off of ebay.uk for around 40-60 GBP.
lisalover1
Bump; thanks for the link, but I'm hoping I can get a better deal here on the forums.
fmdof
Yeah from what I was told on a cd32 forum, all games were pal only, however some do work on an NTSC console. There's a list out there of whichs ones work, and which ones don't, and which ones are buggy. I know golden.ax used to have some games for sale for it, but this was like 2 years ago. He hooked me up with a few of mine.
+save2600
Not all CD32 games are PAL. Some are true NTSC and some will only work if you force your machine into a particular mode. You want to use the native mode anyway if you don't want to chop off the bottom 1/4 of the screen. Here's a list of what's what: http://www.amigacd32.com/games/gamesearch.php?title=&submitButtonName=Submit
