jblenkle Posted July 16, 2012 Share Posted July 16, 2012 (edited) Having trouble mapping whatever button you use for FIRE in this game using KAT5200 emulator...any clues??? Finally got the arrow keys to work for movement, but can't fire.... Never mind...I finally got a 5200 version going on one of the Atari 8-bit emulators...it doesn't seem to have the controller issues Kat5200 does. atariron82 Posted July 22, 2012 Share Posted July 22, 2012 Centipede is a little too flippin' hard to be all that enjoyable...which is why I had to dig deep into a big dusty box of old cables and assorted computer junk to find the cartridge, 'cause it aint on the flash-cart! Millipede is 10 times better, and 100 times more fun !! This is one of those games I don't really feel like I get better at. I know it's not true, but it feels more like a dice roll of some days I'm more on, and some days i'm not. Also, I've quit going out of my way to shoot those 'bomber-fleas'. At least for now. Yep! Check off another setting zylon, 51,699 (Standard) - Busted the old record !!! 30,114 (Hard) - Agh!, this spider never wants anyone goin' beyond 30ks... Nevermind the 49ks score, that was done on Standard, my goal was 50ks... so I kept playing. Like Trbb, I spent much more time on Hard or HELL setting.
