PFL
I know that the subject's been brought up many times in the past but I was thinking about it again after playing some Missile Command TB... Now that the Harmony cart and Melody board are established in the Atari VCS community and homebrew scene I was wondering if the extra ARM power could be put to use to finally play Centipede and/or Millipede the way that God intended? Reading previous threads it seems that too many cycles were taken up drawing graphics leaving no room for the extra overheads of reading the trackball. Could the ARM be used to read the trackball leaving the VCS CPU free for all those lovely squares on the screen?
