+DarkLord
Completely off-topic, but here's hoping that everyone affected by Hurricane Sandy is alright. Here in Eastern Kentucky, we got lucky. We were given an 8" snowfall forecast, but the temp never dropped like predicted and we only got barely an inch, which melted off by mid-day. Our neighbours in W. Virginia though, got something like 2-3 *feet*. Of course, the East coast was pummelled. My heartfelt prayers and sympathy to anyone that was in harms' way.

+bf2k+
We got side-swiped here in Central VA - some rain but the wind wasn't too bad. I never lost power which is a miracle here lately. I am usually the first to lose it and the last to get it back.

puppetmark
Southeastern PA took a good hit! Minor damage to the houses in my neighborhood. I lost power for a couple of days, and there are still 10,000 that are still out. All that is nothing compared to my friends in Jersey. The destruction is pretty bad. redman
We had power out for about 15 hours and the heavy rain that was predicted didn't come so we feel very lucky. Gasoline is a problem and you can only get gas on odd/even days based on your license plate number. I'm 65 years old and I've never seen so many trees and power lines down. The Jersey shore is a complete mess. This is going to take a really long time to fix. Money can't replace what a lot of New Jerseyans have lost. pixelmischief
My kids live in Staten Island with their mother. They're safe, but they lost everything. It's going to be a tough few months coming up for them and my ex-wife. Bad mojo.
