Well on my side, the games that I've published for Daniel: Canadian Mini Games 1, Ghostblaster and Jeepers Creepers were all games that the ROMs were freely available before they were published by me. It seems that there is an audience for the physical cart with or without the ROM being available.

 

I know that my upcoming games will have the ROM available.

 

Really the core reason I make games is to have them played, as strange as that sounds. So making them collectable is mostly an after thought. And to me, making them available in physical form on an on going basis is certainly an ideal I aspire to, although there are lots of barriers to making that a practical reality. But still I will do my best to make unlimited runs of games where I can. I surely can't promise that for CIB carts though. Ah well, we will see.
