Cynicaster
I was driving the other day and got to thinking--has there ever been a multi-platform HSC here (or anywhere else)? I think it would be awesome to have a single club that rotates between the well-emulated platforms from 2600 to Coleco to Gameboy to Genesis to MAME. Maybe even base it around MESS so those without real hardware could run a single emulator rather than having to learn how to work with a hundred different ones. I haven't really put much thought into how the game selection would work, but I think it would be fun as hell, not to mention a great excuse to make a foray into exploring games on different platforms.
BillyHW
I really like the idea. It would give us a chance to play games on systems that don't have their own clubs, like SNES, Genesis and C64. But if people want to use another emulator other than MESS, that should be an option too. I think we should also try different goals sometimes, rather than just points. Like highest level reached etc. That would also open up a few other games that aren't points-based. '
classicgamer_27330
This is a great idea, and I'd be glad to help out.
WispFollower
Good idea. We just need a volunteer to run it.
classicgamer_27330
I will, if I can get some help, like ideas for games and such. I haven't used the Atari 5200, MAME,Jaguar and any of the lesser systems for gaming emulation Edited December 28, 2012 by classicgamer_27330
