Decathlon Best Controller

I purchased a copy of Decathlon for the colecovision today. I didn't like how much force I had to put on the colecovision (standard controller) joystick. I was wondering if there are any third party controllers or controllers for other systems that someone would recommend using for this game? Thanks.

For me the best joystick ever is the Atari CX24 . I bought it back in time specialy to play decathlon!!

To make this even better I cut down some springs and inserted them under the plastic of the buttons. Now it's even better. (Atari relied on plastic to give bounce back - a cheap and lousy move).

Is CV Decathlon a two button game?

 

I remember using a stick with suction cups (Spectravision maybe?) stuck to my desktop when playing Decathlon on my C64.

Yeah its a one button game. You use the one button for jumping in high/long jump and throwing the shot put ball. You move the control stick quickly back and forth to build up speed/power.
