Fushek
Is that a first edition Dungeons and Dragons that I see? Very nice. And love the CYOA books ... although I preferred the Fighting Fantasy series (I've always been a sucker for a sword or magic ...)
y-bot
Toby, of course your house would be stuffed with awesome! At any show I go to, your tables are always the most compelling to me. Thanks! Is that a first edition Dungeons and Dragons that I see? Very nice. And love the CYOA books ... although I preferred the Fighting Fantasy series (I've always been a sucker for a sword or magic ...) It's the Original Collector's Edition from the early 80's which is a reissue of the original set. The 70's sets came in woodgrain boxes and are worth $$$. Lynxpro
I guess you were a Duran Duran fan too?... Intellivision Rocks, not Pop. Andy Taylor would disagree with this. Plus, the genre became known as "modern rock" in the 90s and by the end of the 90s, Duran Duran was known as the "Elder Statesmen of Modern Rock". Well, them and The Cure. There are so many genres self-described as "rock." For instance, what we call now "freestyle" and even "electro," was called "rock" in the 70s and 80s. Even Disco was referred to as "rock" during its inception. In fact, it's not unusual for early 80s rappers to talk about "rocking the house" and "rock and don't stop," etc. in their songs. -dZ.
