cimerians
This is actually the first Kickstarter project I've ever participated in. ..Al Thats great. I can see great things coming from crowd funding. Not just Kickstarter but simply paying devs DIRECTLY with no publisher is like a dream come true...especially for them. I guess I'm the lowest bid at 250. Ugh.....if I can muster it I may bump mine up to at least Citizen. I'll think about it the next few weeks. Albert
Looks good, I am in with the First Responder deal. I must own the cloth map (and having it signed is nice), and Developer access as well. ..Al

By the way, the Return/Enter key doesn't work with the forum software anymore. A new feature of the IE10...

+Sauron
Man, this thread sure blew up in the last hour! I only pledged $25. As much as I'd love to be a Lord of the Manor, I'd rather not be completely broke out in Eastern Europe in real life. This is looking quite nice! Arkhan
Lunch time. That was the greatest thing ever. I pledged 1500$ as a birthday present to myself, basically. Even though my Birthday isnt for like 20 days.
+Sauron
I don't think I've been so excited for a new game in quite a while. Now, how to make it until the end of the year before the beta starts.

Bill Lange
This is the second Kickstarter that I participated in, the first being the Reaper Miniatures last summer. I'm looking forward to this new game.
desiv
I do wonder tho.. Why the $1M price? I mean, yeah, Double Fine guys weren't broke, but coming up with hundreds of thousands of dollars would be tricky.. But does anyone think Richard Garriott has to worry about that? Personally, I'm thinking about it. Not sure enough about the type of game it will be.. Love the Ultima stuff, but stopped playing them after Ultima VI.. (No reason relating to the games, just life) desiv

(No reason relating to the games, just life) desiv for a game with such a grand purpose, I think 1,000,000 is a valid goal. There will be alot of talent and resources required to make this game happen in a way that isn't a disaster. It's already hit over 250k$, so I have faith that it will be reached. cimerians
1 million is peanuts to what Publishers are dishing out for games. Torment was 900k and even David Cranes unsuccessful Pitfall was way up there. Its a lot of people, servers, art, crap involved. I dont mind spending 20-60 bucks on a game that I want when I know it goes straight to the people making it and not some damned publisher. In this case its over 200 bucks for me. But this is special. Tempest
Earlier when I was looking at the list of topics on AA it said: Lord British Presents ULTRASATAN For some reason this made me laugh out loud.
Arkhan
The thing of it is, it's like donating and purchasing at the same time. We all get a copy of the game when it comes out, now that we've pledged some decent amount. This is beyond awesome though.
