Tempest
Ok this is probably an odd question since most people want to go the other way, but I want to take some .CAS files and transfer them to real tapes so I can use them with my SV-328 computer. The tape drive for the SV-328 uses an odd connector so there's no way to hook it up to my PC, so I assume I need to get an old generic tape player and plug the mic port into the sound out on my PC or something like that? Use the SV CAS2WAV program: http://home.student....e/jowi4905/svi/ ...then output the .wav to cassette mic jack and record. You are going to have to fiddle with the record level quite a bit, I fear, to get the right level. Not sure how finicky Spectravideo is going to be on this, but I have done it for coco. If you can find an old component tape deck with some good range to the level control and gauges / led's, you can be more precise than with a cheap (computer style) deck. Macc
Not much use if you have a 64 bit OS though, CAS2WAV just wont run
