Fixitguy74
I have a couple of dead and soon to be repaired systems that take RF cables with the RCA type ends and most have a damaged or missing cable. So I was wondering where I might find a replacement on the cheap. I tried the local Radio Shack and all they had that was remotely close, cost more than I paid for some of the systems. Anybody make their own from bulk cable or find a source for cheaper pre-made cables?
Hatta
You can use any regular coax cable with one of these on the Atari side. Also, a ferrite bead helps a lot. Edited April 18, 2013 by Hatta

That's a nice option, but I was hoping for something closer to the original. Some of the consoles have it plugged in/wired internaly and I didn't want to mod the cases to make a larger cable fit. shadow460
Thrift shops are your best bet for composite and coax cables. They're usually only a buck or two, so you're not out much if you get a dud.
xDragonWarrior
Or you can ask people here if they see any RF cord that you need in your price range while there hunting to get and you pay for it after.Just a thought.
YAGRS
So, you just need a couple of these? I probably have a couple I can give you (for the price of shipping, which should be cheap) from dead systems. You need the cables that have the same connector on both ends, right? Tenorman
I just go on eBay or Amazon and buy from whoever is selling them the cheapest. As long as it is actually a coax cable instead of a plain unshielded composite cable the picture quality should be fine.

Yep, same on both ends. Like the standard 2600, Intely, OD2, etc. cables.
