Brad2600
Call me crazy, but I really wish someone could port the Leisure Suit Larry series to the 7800. I dunno. Probably not a good idea but I was wondering what do YOU think would make a great 7800 port or homebrew?
JaySeaver
I'm researching 7800 stuff so that I can create a 7800 version of "Burgertime".

Witchfynde
I always thought that a near-perfect port of Phoenix could be done. The 2600 version was pretty good as is, even without the phoenix birds swooping down past your ship and reappearing at the top during those two waves and not having any birds during the fifth wave ('course that was all the 2600 could handle). Especially with the glitch being cleared up from being killed, yet you can still hear your shield being activated on the arcade version, I think an excellent job could be done on a 7800 version. DracIsBack
A good Zelda type game would be nice. A port of ADVENTURE II would be nice too!
bcprs1
I think Popeye could be done nicely on the 7800. It is one of my favs on the 2600, but I miss some of the features of the arcade version.
+davidcalgary29
"Rampart". I can't believe that Atari ported it only over to the Lynx. Second choice: "I, Robot"... since it didn't find its way to any Atari console.

Tempest
Rampart". I can't believe that Atari ported it only over to the Lynx. Actually a port of Rampart was done by Imagitec for the 7800 and almost completed (according to internal documents). Lord knows what happened to it... latlk
Battlezone (I know Super Huey is similar, but it's not as good!) Defender Just about any classic arcade ports would interest me, actually. Also, some kind of video pinball would be cool.
Clock
Lemmings, it's on the sms and lynx so why not?

t.skid
Why not a 7800 version of "Crystal Castles"?
Clint Thompson
Lemmings would be very interesting to see on the 7800 Actually, it would have been neat to see Jeff Minter program something for the 7800, like Grid Runner was it? Or a really nice side-scroller shooter.... Clint Thompson

MegaManFan
I'd love to see Pac-Man. Aye, there's the rub. The one Atari console that didn't get a version that probably deserved one the most.

eric_ruck
Actually most of those games (except maybe LSLarry) would work pretty well given the 7800's capabilities. One problem I see is that many of the titles mentioned have pretty good, playable 2600 versions, kinda makes the effort on a 7800 not worth it. Now Defender I think is a good idea...I still think the only decent home version is on the Jag (and that includes the XBox version). Witchfynde
Star Wars Arcade NOW you're talkin'! The 2600 version looked and played decent enough!

Eric Leisure Shuit Larry came out on the Tandy Co Co III, so I'm sure it's probably within the system power of the 7800. The problem would be storage space ... it's probably possible to produce a 7800 cart big enough but it would be pricey.
