HOME AUTOMATION
heh,heh,heh... you caught me... sometimes, I forget that! So, I meant GROM4, which is unusual for a single GROM game... ...should be on GROM3!

Roma does not have the power brick. Can someone who knows exactly, send the seller details on the transformer? I would hate to see the buyer damage the 99/2 by guessing. I've tried to measure my power brick, but apparently I suck at measuring AC. I also asked Roma to open the case and take photos. -Erik 3 days left and it's over $1000.
fabrice montupet
The Roma's 99/2 computer is not a prototype but a pre-serie. All I can say about the power supply is that is my 99/2 early prototype (#45) uses a DC 1A 9V (center positive)
pixelpedant
A Miner 2049er and Speech Synth Module being sold for $50 right now. Not bad, given what those Tigervision carts are often listed for

pixelpedant
Well, with the way things are in the auction market, how fun a game is to play is almost inversely proportional to how much it'll sell for. Parsec? Great game! Worthless. Espial? Jesus Christ, what is this nightmare? Take all the money!!! Mostly just a consequence of a lot of really common games being really good, and a lot of rarities and prototypes, conversely, having stayed that way for a reason. Nobody's spending $1,000 on Color Bar Generator for 2600 because it's a fun game. 3

fabrice montupet
Yes! I think that Texas Instruments wanted to increase their profits by proposing a specific power supply to prevent people buying a generic one. In all cases, the polarity is easy to find thanks to a multimeter.

+dhe
99/4 - Does anyone know if you can use a 99/4a transformer on a 99/4?
+Ksarul
The answer to your question is: it depends. Does the 99/4 have a volume slide where the Solid State Software badge usually appears? If yes, do NOT make the attempt, as it will do lots of damage to the 99/4. If it has the Solid State Software badge, the 99/4A power supply will work fine.

+OLD CS1
Yeah. If your 32k on the NanoPEB is fried, then it should not conflict with the side-car SAMS, and you can get a port adapter for the pin header and use your NanoPEB with it. Obviously YMMV and doing so might impregnate your hamster and wipe your credit cards.

But was supposed to say, "but I don't know if it comes with a connector on each side, or is that something I would have to do"? Sorry about that half assed post earlier
