Imagic's Sky Patrol?

Hey. Has anyone ever 'finished' this prototype? It looks really interesting and it would be great to see it finished a la Ixionf preferably with a PAL version too.

It needs quite some programming to make this one exiting.

Oh well. I kinda thought so. Do you know of another game using the same idea (that's maybe fun too!)? It just seems like a nice change from all those space games with direct control over your ships movement.

Is this referring to the planned game from Imagic in the " Making of Atlantis " documentary that was possibly shelved due to the crash? I always wondered if it was done, even if it made it to prototype. It showed Imagic founder, Bill Grubbe going up in an air balloon, researching for a planned upcoming game.
