8bitbasslines
hello all was wondering does anyone on here own a 5200 multicart ? pros and cons please?
Dutchman2000
I do. It's really great! There are no CONS as far as I'm concerned.
sku_u
PRO: It's a great way to have an instant collection for a lot less than it would cost to buy individual carts. CON: There's nothing like owning the originals. PRO: It has almost everything known to exist for the 5200 (less BBSB, Super Pac-Man and a handful of variations) CON: The menu is hard to navigate. PRO: You'll probably never own all of the prototypes on your own unless you are Atari's creator or Tempest. Go out and buy one already. THEYRRRRE GRRRRRRREAT!!![/b]
MegaManFan
PRO: It's really f'n sweet. CON: Some games seem to randomly freeze up on me, even though their normal cart counterparts never do.
Mock
where can you buy one? Sean no longer sells them on his website? Mock
MegaManFan
where can you buy one? Sean no longer sells them on his website? Odds are he got hassled into taking it down by Activision.
sku_u
Hey, you're right...when did that happen?
CPUWIZ
The 5200 multi-cart is shown here as something I designed for my own personal use. I am unable to sell this cartridge.

Mock
Anyone else know where to get one? I'd guess you can still get them , just maybe not above ground except maybe through a trade...he left the ref. to them on the site...
NoahsMyBro
WOW Does that suck!!!! I didn't know about this. Did it happen recently?
MegaManFan
If I can complete my 5200 collection, there's a chance I'd part with mine - otherwise I'm keeping it. (And not to worry Ken, I own all of the Activision titles already as legitimate individual carts; even Pitfall II.)
cx2k
Don't always believe what you read. I'm sure if you email him, you can work something out. John WOW Does that suck!!!! I didn't know about this. Did it happen recently?

MrRetroGamer
I'm sure Sean won't have any at Philly Classic to sell.

onklsven75
Do you think he can sell me a colecovision multi-cart if I ask him to? I've been wanting one of those for some time.
MegaManFan
I was thinking about doing that too, but then I wouldn't have the prototypes to play. That is of course, unless you buy reproductions of them from a certain user here on AtariAge.
