lapetino
I was wondering how U.S. buyers can get an sutogrsphed copy Will you be doing a book tour Great to hear you got it done! We are planning some events and some stops around the country to do signings, etc. Nothing is set in stone yet, but I'll be speaking at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo (http://www.retrogamingexpo.com/) the week the book is released, and we are working on some other things. I'll update you all as soon as things get more solid. And thanks for the kind words and support too. I appreciate our community here!

The Eyeball Mural
Thanks for the notes, you all! It means a lot, as this has been a huge labor of love. I'm excited to share the whole thing with you all in October! Tim, can you tell me who did the box art and instruction manual art for Berzerk on the 2600 VCS? lapetino
Tim, can you tell me who did the box art and instruction manual art for Berzerk on the 2600 VCS? Yes, it was Hiro Kimura who did both.

The Eyeball Mural
Yes, it was Hiro Kimura who did both. Thank you! I thought maybe I read about that on one of the sample pages from your book, but I couldn't track the info down. By the way, I'm buying the deluxe edition for myself and two regular editions as gifts.

By the way, I'm buying the deluxe edition for myself and two regular editions as gifts. Don't feel bad. It's not easy to track down that info. The cover painting isn't signed or marked anywhere and the artist was never credited in print.

lapetino
Galaxian isn't signed either. What name do you have down for Galaxian? Galaxian 2600 was drawn by Hiro Kimura, and the 5200 version was by James Kelly.
Buyatari
Galaxian 2600 was drawn by Hiro Kimura, and the 5200 version was by James Kelly. Thanks Tim. 2600 Galaxian was the one I was unsure of. Kelly signed the lower right hand corner of the 5200 Galaxian cover and you can't blame him for it. It is a stunning image and a fresh take to the by then redundant theme of "space invaders"

I'm looking forward to getting my book in all of your hands so everyone can share in the answers we've uncovered on "who did what." I almost wish we could do a live reading together so everyone could experience it at the same time!

lapetino
Getting closer to October. Anyone else getting excited? I know I can't wait. Yes, it's getting closer. I will be speaking and leading a panel at Portland Retro Gaming Expo the weekend of Oct 21-23: http://www.retrogamingexpo.com/panel_descriptions.phpThere should be at least one book signing event that weekend, and I hope to see some of you there. I also will be headlining at least a couple Chicago signings and events, as well as a swing in SF/LA, most likely. I'll get dates and all out there as soon as I know them. Thanks, all!
achtbits
Getting closer to October. Anyone else getting excited? I know I can't wait. I'd like to get excited, but I still can't preorder the Deluxe Edition anywhere in Germany. They do list in on amazon.de, but it's not orderable (https://www.amazon.de/Art-Atari-Robert-V-Conte/dp/1524102113/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1473313889&sr=8-2&keywords=art+of+atari). Yeah, sorry to say that I don't know where the Deluxe is being sold. I'll try and find out where it is being sold, but it's a limited printing, and I have a gut feeling it might only be in the US.
